My sticky paws were into making straws out of big fat slurpy treats
An incredible eight-foot heap
Now the funny glare to pay a gleaming tare in a staring under heat
Involved an under usual feat
And I'm not only among but I invite who I want to come
So I missed a million miles of fun

Conditions were perfect: 80% chance of rain and strong winds. What could be better? For shooting osprey, nothing. Rain suit for me and my camera and a surprising a lot of other adventurous souls showed up for the show. The pelicans seemed to being doing better than the osprey, dive after dive while the osprey were out in force looking but not catching much. This one did well however, and one greedy pelican made an attempted steal. The osprey pulled up up an away!
I love it when an arboreal character seems to photobomb a scene. This one seems to dance across the shot, just missing his cane and top hat. More misty goodness from Whiteleaf, Buckinghamshire

Taken from my hotel window at the 6th floor. Well worth the bug hunt...lol. The hotel parking lot almost steals the show here.
