Before and after shots of the renovation.

The dead grass and plant area was one of the first things I noticed when I got to Denver's outrageously "peaked" airport. I asked what it was about at the information desk and was told that they stopped watering because the water was leaking into the trains. It's been that way for months and months. So much for the world-class airport. Even I can get the dead stuff out of my garden.

We purchased this used hot tub for $500 off of craigslist, spent $250 for the delivery, and since any reasonable electrician refused to wire it, we wired it ourselves. It is now operational and floaty toys and drink holders are soon to come!

Stapleton has a population of 249, so ticket sales of 150 was pretty good going. Well done Stapleton!

Stapleton is a village and a civil parish in the City of Carlisle district,in the county of Cumbria, in the North West of England. It falls under this jurisdiction of Cumbria County Council and is still, to this day, a Parish.

Stapleton is located around 8 miles away from Longtown and around 12 miles away from Carlisle. Stapleton is located just east of the B6318, its nearest main road, and around 12 miles away from the M6 motorway, one of the major motorways in the United Kingdom. The nearest railway stations are Brampton (Cumbria) railway station which is around 7 miles away and is operated by Northern and is on the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway.

According to the 2001 UK Census there are 87 households in the Parish of Stapleton, with a population of 221 people. This makes it an extremely small Parish. In 1991, the population of Stapleton was 230 people. This means the population has decreased around 4.5% in the past 10 years. This is slower than the population decrease in England as a whole, which is thought to be around 8% every 10 years. However the overall decrease in the English population is the underlying reason for a reduction in small Parish's populations. In 1851 UK Census the population of Stapleton was recorded as 1119 people, this is the highest recorded population of the Parish, and in the next UK census, in 1881 the Parish's population had dropped significantly, to 372 people. The population taken at the 2011 Census was 249.

The South Tynedale Railway stop Kirkhaugh Station is located 18 miles from Stapleton. The South Tynedale Railway is a heritage railway that runs from Alston in Cumbria to Lintley in Northumberland. The railway line is renowned for its location, as it is England's highest narrow gauge railway line. The South Tyndale Railway attracts an estimated 40,000 tourists a year, making it one of Cumbria's main tourist attractions.

St. Mary's Church is the Parish's church. It is located in the centre of the township and was erected in 1830 on the site of a church thought to be dating back to the 12th century. The Lanercost Priory is around 6 miles away from Stapleton. The original priory was built in 1169, as a monastery but was destroyed in 1536 by Henry VIII in a period of mass dissolution of monasteries. It is believed that Anglican services have been held in the Priory every Sunday for the past 850 years, making it one of the long-standing Anglican churches. It is an English National Heritage Site.

[This album contains 7 photos[ One of the most interesting sights in Lynchburg, Virginia is City Cemetery where a variety of displays are found, including a rail depot (from Stapleton, Virginia), a small medical museum, a dovecote, and a large water pitcher among others.

The structure is essentially of side gable style with a front bay that was probably the ticket window. Slender brackets support the overhanging roof. The end gables and front bay contain decorative millwork. Board-and-batten exterior walls are used on the end gables as well. Windows and doors are generally narrow. A simple chimney tops the building.

The sign at the Stapleton station reads as follows: "This Chesapeake & Ohio Railway Station was in use at Stapleton in Amherst County, Virginia, from 1898 until 1937. It is the only remaining C&O 'Standard Station' of its size and style.

In 1999-2001 the badly-deteriorated Station was dismantled board-by-board and reconstructed here to interpret the importance of railroads in the history of Lynchburg. Through employment, war, and accident, thousands of people buried in this cemetery lived and died by the railroad.

The furnishings and instruments in the Station Agent, Passenger, and Baggage Rooms are typical of the World War I era."

Katherine was a very rich widow, her former husband having settled almost all his estates on trustees holding to his own use and that of his wife. He was careful to obtain a full release of whatever title his younger brother and next heir, John, had in the property, thus leaving his widow in possession of a very impressive jointure. Simon clearly did very well for himself out of the marriage. Although they were sued by John Green in the court of Chancery for reputedly failing to carry out the terms of his deceased brother’s will, it seems likely that the above-mentioned trustees were fairly scrupulous in this regard, and that John was, in fact, resentful of the handsome settlement made at his expense. Katherine lived on until 1460, when she was succeeded by her great-nephew, John the son of Sir John Knyvet son of John Knyvet 1417 of Mendlesham flic.kr/p/pQb3qb

Owing to a possession in the Severn Tunnel, South Wales trains ran via Gloucester and some Bristol trains were extended to Parkway. One such was the 1100 Paddington - Bristol Parkway, seen passing Stapleton Road with 43092 at the front.

Due to the golden valley route through Stroud being closed for 3 weeks the Didcot to Ashchurch MOD is seen diverted via Bath and Yate. Not the best location to appreciate the cracking consist of army vehicles due to shadows at that time in the morning at other vantage points, 20/8/13.
