To an ex-pilot the though of PBY's taxiing in and out of these back in the 1940's is tantalizing. I finished my own seaplane rating on Kaneohe Bay back in 1998 and the first person the Honolulu Flight Standards District Office had certified in a seaplane.

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Used my travel zoom compact camera in manual mode at very hi ISO unfortunately, but was still able to make it work a hell of a lot better than a phone camera. It goes almost to 400mm. focal length.

Wasn't always sure how they react to a DSLR and a pro 70-200mm. zoom.

It's a miracle I got anything at all, and I would have gone at 6 am to buy the book and get his ZoSo stamp of approval, had I known to meet him briefly.
