A crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a stack fire at a farm in Middle Road, Newborough.
Approximately 10 tonnes of baled straw was well alight and had spread to wooden pallets and trees.
Firefighters used hose reels and jets to contain and control the fire and a farmer with a teleporter assisted by removing wooden pallets.
At 9am the incident was handed back to the farmer and fire crews will return to inspect the stack.
The crew returned to station by 9.15am.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
Limpets, Crepidula fornicata with alga growing off of oldest shell in stack (and a little black high spired snail living on the alga). Found on the beach, along with many other similar stacks of limpets with the same alga and the same little black snail.

Juicy & delicious watermelon, all eaten, nothing was left but the skins, so I thought I'd
stack them!

I got these glass boxes at the Container Store which stack up. I thought it would be cool for the each box to recharge the batteries of the box underneath it. It's like recycling light!

My brother is not a reader per se. He reads , but not for fun. When he stays with me he claims he has to read. This is the stack of books that is by his bed.
One of my photos was published in a Brazilian magazine called "a revista de natureza ecológica" ... It's of the Sudbury Smoke Stack that I put up on my former photoblog.
South Stack is famous as the location of one of Wales' most spectacular lighthouses, South Stack Lighthouse. It has a height of 41 metres (135 feet). It has a maximum area of 7 acres.
Until 1828 when an iron suspension bridge was built, the only means of crossing the deep water channel on to the island was in a basket which was suspended on a hemp cable. The suspension bridge was replaced in 1964, but by 1983 the bridge had to be closed to the public, due to safety reasons. A new aluminium bridge was built and the lighthouse was reopened for public visits in 1997. Thousands of people flock to the lighthouse every year, thanks to the continued public transport service from Holyhead's town centre.
There are over 400 stone steps down to the footbridge (and not, as local legend suggests, 365), and the descent and ascent provide an opportunity to see some of the 4,000 nesting birds that line the cliffs during the breeding season. The cliffs are part of the RSPB South Stack Cliffs bird reserve, based at Elin's Tower.
The Anglesey Coastal Path passes South Stack, as does the Cybi Circular Walk. The latter has long and short variants; the short walk is 4 miles long and takes around two hours to complete. Travelling from the Breakwater Country Park, other sites along the way are the North Stack Fog Signal station, Caer y Tŵr, Holyhead Mountain and Tŷ Mawr Hut Circles.
Chairs Stacked at 1 Air Street, London. These chairs felt like an art installation. I had to take photos of them as if they were.
