Another card created with the Holiday Words background stamp. This time I isolated the words Merry Christmas, inked up the words with VersaMark watermark ink, stamped and embossed with pewter embossing powder on patterned paper. The mistletoe and pine are from the SSS Christmas Foliage die set. Also adding this to the SSS flickr challenge.

I haven’t worked with alcohol inks for a while so I was happy to get back into it with the @simonsaysstamp January card kit. I did the background with the ink included in the kit, Patina, and Denim and Silver mixative from my stash. I die cut the included snowflake die out of metallic white cardstock, and hand cut the banner for a wintery card. I’m entering this card in all of Simon’s challenges (the theme is something new (the kit)).

Using a MFT oval doily die, a Simon Say Stamp flower die, and an Altenew sentiment. I used some PP that was black with white splatter.

This is my entry to the SSSflickrchallenge#14. I used the Simon Says Stamp March 2015 kit to make my card. Since its a one layer CAS card, I used a lot of masking to create the illusion of layers.

See through garden. I was inspired by @nicholspohr and her card using this stamp set. Simon says stamp Love you Mama stamp set and dies. Simon says stamp Tap dance stencil. I turned this set into a spring garden with a peek through window. I used Zig clean color real brush markers on Bristol smooth card stock. I highly recommend this combo. The markers blend like butter and the colors are gorgeous on this card stock! ( they are not as vibrant on Neenah #110) I really like the tap dance stencil on the inside of the card as it adds dimension but is still light enough that you can write on top of it. This is the card that I sent to Paru for the 6th Annual Christmas/Holiday Exchange. I know that she has received it, so I can post it without ruining the surprise. The main panel was done with alcohol inks on Yupo - my first attempt. I stamped the globe with StazOn ink and when that was dry I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and silver embossed. It was tricky heating the Yupo paper without melting it - took me two tries. I stamped and embossed the "splatters" with silver. TFL!

For this card I made a stencil using the Simon Says Stamp Pebbles die and stenciled with rainbow colors. I then punched 1 1/4 in. squares and mounted them on black card stock. Another card for the current SSS flickr challenge. I used the July SSS kit and did some ink blending to create my background. The pineapple was stamped with VersaFine CLAIR ink in Nocturne and then colored with ZIGs. The sentiment was also stamped with the Nocturne ink.

I made this card using the Simon Says Stamp Extra Large Dots Stencil on which I blended 3 different distress inks to make the bright background. The floral image is from the SSS/ Winnie & Walter collaboration stamp set, Big Bloom, which I heat embossed on vellum with Magenta Ranger Embossing Powder. The Hugs is cut from a Lawn Fawn die using two different colors of paper to give it a shadow.
