The SS Luftschiff Yaxchilan, named for a major Maian city in the Eukatan, is one of the world's first true flying aircraft carriers. Developed as an experiment by Lochkopf Aviation in collaboration with the Maian aircraft firm Muizlibixli, the LS-28 was given to the Maian SS by Lochkopf as a gift to the gods and the shaman-priests of Kukulcan who vowed to grant success to the company.

The airship carries 25 fighter-sized aircraft, is filled with hydrogen, armored, and powered by ten gas-electric turbines. Bomber, transport, and other versions are planned for the future.

The first Star Sailors League, Lake grand slam took place earlier in the year in Grandson, Switzerland.

Once again a mix of the worlds best sailors were invited to battle head to head over four days to see who would claim the first ever SSL Lake Grand Slam title.
