On February 13, 2011, The FUUSA congregation gave its SSL Award to
member Lynne Jackson who best supports the spirit of SSL. Ms. Jackson
has been active in projects benefiting the entire Albany community,
fighting for LGBT rights, and recently founded Project Salam, a group
dedicated to ensuring that the rights of Muslims are respected within
the Albany area and the country as a whole.

Drawing its inspiration from tennis and its annual Masters, the SSL Board has launched in 2013 the SSL Finals which will be organised at the end of every year. This regatta has exceptional media coverage and brings together the 10 best sailors of the Ranking and about 15 VIP guest sailors.
