Multi-image composite panorama. Launched in 1945, SS American Victory saw service through the end of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Today a museum ship, she is one of only four operational WWII-era merchants ships left in the country. The "Victory Ships" were the successor design to the "Liberty Ships" of early World War II.
