My gardens are just beginning to bloom. I can't wait to start adding flowers to the garden. One of my favourite spring hobbies is gardening.

Dandelion Spring a sure sign of warmer weather when you see these start to pop up everywhere, found in North Carolina.

A creative view of Castelluccio highland meanwhile flowering bloom. This is amovement shot made freehand trying to catch the different colors of fields full of flowers. It seems a spring rainbow.

ok... no trooper here! :D

just wanted to celebreate spring coming back after a long and cold winter...

Not a focus stack, just a shot of my Peony bush a couple of weeks ago, pushing out new growth. I liked the colors and the freshness, so I decided to post it.

Happy Spring everyone!

The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.

Thank you, my dear friends, for all your comments and faves!

My two favorite times of the year to shoot in the Gorge are during the new growth of spring and during snow storms. So with snow in the forecast over the next few days, I thought I'd take a look back at spring. Although roaming through files after file of warm spring days made me miss spring, I really am looking forward to creating more winter images this year. I have a feeling the Gorge will be a lonely place during the upcoming storm, except for us photogs who can't think of a better time to get out there and shoot!

Spring must be on the way now. I don't care that it snowed up on the Pennines last night...

hope springs eternal

these are scary times, extraordinary measures are in place all over the world. we are about to go on lockdown, and it is crucial that folks stay at home isolated if we are to bring this virus under control.

take care of yourselves and others, be kind and mindful.

and yes, there is cause for celebration, happy first day of Spring!

I'm doing a little experiment with Memory of Spring, which I decide to change.

I tried the preset I did back then, I updated it... but I wasn't very satisfied with the color correction shaders.

So, to play around, I decided to give a try to Zeroking's shaders and take the chance to give a different look to Memory of Spring, enhancing it by giving something more interesting graphically speaking.

Then Skyrim crashed. Damn uGrid.

Early Spring flowers take only a day or two to pop out in the warm weather.

Have a happy week end and keep warm

This is one of our latest spring on record, after weeks of cold wet weather.

Extremely tiny buds on a tiny tree branch just starting to awaken. Taking their time opening due to some cool temps right now but warmer temps coming soon. From a very short walk on a walking trail. All handheld on a slightly breezy day so not perfect focus on some as I am rather shaky these days, very shallow DoF since shot wide open for fun this time.

The weather finally broke here last weekend and as soon as that Sun stayed out the local fishermen got out to hit the local waters.

A spring flower captured in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, England.

Not sure which species these are ... Rich tells me that we have at least Common & Blue Marsh (purple) violets at the wetlands. I've also found some white ones. Rich? Paula? you all around for an ID? The leaves on these are rather heart-shaped but long, not round hearts. I thought that might rule out Common.

In any case, a zillion violets in bloom right now in wet areas in N. Georgia. Rainy & cool here. Have a blessed Sunday!
