Such a great Spring softness in local gardens. Looking around it’s easy to see for oneself the true “Colors Of Splendor”. These exact colors are not to be found in a box Crayola Crayons or a painters array of paints. Such variations make for eye candy when visiting gardens. It’s all part of Springs splendor. Thanks for viewing my work. Let’s wash our 🙏’s...
Splendor is the only was to explain Mount Wilson and Sunshine Peak during this shoot in the San Juans! I have spent the last day couple of days shooting with Jon Blake and Brad McGinley in the San Juans of south western Colorado. Ronda Kimbrow joined us too. We were not lucky enough to have clouds, but that is the only thing that was missing. The colors were in many stages of the fall colors and with fresh snow on most of the peaks the sights were simply stunning.
This is one of the many amazing sight we saw. Thanks for any comments of favs you may leave.

Have a great day/night everyone.
Had to go into the archives for some fall shots. I took this with my good friends Jerry and Chris. Brought back some wonderful memories of a good photo shoot.

The view from Rain's balcony is quite spectacular. Apparently, there are lights to be seen in the ruins on the hill across the bay at night, and to the left we see the Dragon volcano on the horizon. But Rain's home is more beautiful!

-English:
An old and dilapidated living room of an abandoned farmhouse, recovering briefly despite their decadence, an ephemeral beautiful splendor thanks to the light of the morning that comes into through the window that provides a suggestive transcendent atmosphere, seeming to reveal a kind of latent spiritual aura left in that place by all those who, in the past, dwelled there.

When you look through the viewfinder, and see something like this, you always hope that your camera sees it the same way. This time, it did, and I am so thankful, that I have this beauty to pass along to others...It is unbelievable to some, that each sunset is so incredibly different, but to some of us, we can't help ourselves, and continue to collect as many as we can, to reaffirm our beliefs, that no two are ever alike.

declaring your splendor all day long."

There are not many castles that show the extravagance of the French Kings better than Château Chambord, but to me it still pales under the splendor of the starfilled sky.
During one of my trips to France this year, I had the pleasure to shoot one night with @benjaminbarakat at the famous Château Chambord in the Loire Valley.
The illumination of the castle is extinguished at 1 a.m. - something that should be considered for all illuminated landmarks to reduce light pollution and energy consumption and to allow visitors to witness these structures in a truely dark setting.
Unfortunately, the hotel next the castle was less considerate. Although they finally shut down the worst of their lights at 2 a.m. the complex stayed brightly lit all night.
In addition to the lights, we were fighting with clouds that night. They were moving pretty fast, but the Milky Way arch was never completely free of clouds. I captured two full sky panoramas and I was able to stitch the clear parts into a Milky Way arch.
For the reflection I also applied a new technique: For minimal displacement of the stars in the reflection, compared to those in the sky, I stopped the tracker after each sky panel and captured the foreground with the reflection, before I moved the camera to capture the next panel.

Our church has a small front garden surrounding its entrance and this is one of the blossoms that offers cheer as parishioners enter the building.
Tree Peonies are truly specimen plants and when in full bloom, are real show stoppers, almost taking one's breath away with their huge and amazing flowers.
Unlike herbaceous peonies, Tree Peonies maintain their bush-like structure all year round, not dying back every winter. They are also long-lived with some reaching the 100-year mark!
Every spring I bring my camera to church and capture their splendor. Enjoy this flower with me here!
