This month's Space Exploration for Bright Metallic!
This was my very first close up view of the Space Needle after being in Seattle at least a dozen times. It was a dreary overcast day.

SpaceEngine - A free space simulation program that lets you explore the universe in three dimensions, from planet Earth to the most distant galaxies. Areas of the known universe are represented using actual astronomical data, while regions uncharted by astronomy are generated procedurally. Millions of galaxies, trillions of stars, countless planets - all available for exploration. You can land any planet, moon or asteroid and watch alien landscapes and celestial phenomena. You can even pilot starships and atmospheric shuttles.
A color composite image of Hyperion, a relatively small moon that orbits Saturn at the considerable distance of over 920,000 miles (almost 1.5 million km.) Heavily cratered, Hyperion's punched-in surface is thought to be the result of a low density, where craters result in compression rather than excavation.
The raw images that made up this version were taken by Cassini on November 28, 2010, at a distance of 45,442 miles (73,132 km).
