Taking Space Age to the musical genre of lounge music inspired by the excitement of the man in space...1954 to the arrival of the Beatles..1963. Collaged layers, text, and bits. CatchPhrase 20/26 Space Age.

Faux box art for my take on Classic set 885. The lighting on my kitchen is the best in the house, and the dark winter of Norway hasn't let go just yet, so the quality was too much of a bother to make crisp and pretty.

Constant - Ruimtecircus (1958)

Constant’s New Babylon

In 1956, Dutch artist Constant Nieuwenhuys started work on a vast architectural and urban planning project that he called New Babylon. He worked on it non-stop for almost twenty years. In 2004 he said, “New Babylon is not a model that should be imitated, but rather an illustration of a way of life in a hypothesized society. This way of life is nomadic in principle. People travel the world leaving tracks that can form a network. A city as a network. New Babylon is a nomadic city. Nothing is fixed.”

In the 1950s, Constant foresaw that the ever-increasing automation of society would give people both increasing amounts of leisure time and the ability to travel with growing ease and speed over greater distances using the then rapidly expanding road and air transport networks. “New Babylon is a gigantic labyrinthine complex raised above the earth on tall pillars. The various tiers of the city can be reached via lifts and stairs and are almost entirely roofed-in and climate-controlled. With their many levels and terraces, they form a vast multi-layered space that constantly offers new surprises as a result of its functional flexibility, climatic variability and light and sound effects. New Babylonians can wander around like modern nomads, in search of new experiences and unknown sensations.”

MOVIE Preview of a 1 Kilometer long Space ship of the GFOL

It is difficult to see the size of the ship, until it has been completed with a texture effect (painted). Here are its current dimensions :

Width : 500 m

Height : 200 m

length : 1000 m (he he yes One kilometer long.

This is just a preview the ship is only partially built, it will be having a Star Trek style Bridge and is also yet to be painted and have details added to the exterior.

This model is being created for my movies, The Adventures of OLeg part's 4 + as a fictional dramatisation of what might happen when the GFL arrives, of coarse this ship is not a true representation as the GFL might hold copyright on their own ships lol

Author of this ship is:

Totally a Peterlmorris front section, but damn does it all look good together.

Feel free to judge and comment, I like criticism (But I like constructive criticism most).

THIS COMPUTER-SIMULATED IMAGE SHOWS THE FORMATION OF TWO HIGH DENSITY REGIONS (YELLOW) IN THE EARLY UNIVERSE, APPROXIMATELY 200 MILLION YEARS THE BIG BANG.

THIS CORES ARE SEPARATED BY ABOUT 800 TIMES THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE EARTH AND THE SUN AND ARE EXPECTED TO EVOLVE INTO A BINARY OR TWIN STAR SYSTEM.

The Seattle Space Needle shows its team spirit for the NFL Playoffs by displaying their "12th Man" flag.

The 12th man is a term commonly used to describe the fans within a stadium during American football or association football games. Since most football leagues allow a maximum of eleven players per team on the playing field at a time, the term denotes the attempt of a team's fans to help their team.

Due to the very nature of fans, their mere presence can have profound impacts on how the teams perform. Namely, the home team fans would like to see their team win the game. Thus these fans will often create loud sounds or chant in hopes of distracting, demoralizing and confusing the opposing team while they have possession of the ball; or to persuade a referee to make a favorable decision. Noises are made by shouting, whistling, stomping and various other techniques.

As a tribute to their fans, the Seahawks retired the number 12 during a game on December 15, 1984. This means no player on the team can wear the number 12 on their jersey. Since then #12 Jerseys have been sold by the team and worn by Seahawk fans, often with the name "Fan" on the back. The Seahawks also have a ceremony before each home game where a flag bearing the #12 is raised by a prominent individual.

After Action Report:

Space Marine score = 2 (I’m terrible)

Alien Player = 45 (She is a smart kid age 7)

I totally underestimated the power of the MKIX Dreadnought. Without the additional man/firepower from Mission Dreadnought the marines are no match for it. We will go on to play the next mission with the Alien player gaining an Alien Event card and an extra reinforcement token. I also discovered that we had 4 additional android blips from Mission Dreadnought in the game instead of the one called for in the mission briefing. This had no impact on the game as the extra android was a reinforcement from an Alien Event card.

the view from the top of the world… Space Needle, Seattle, Washington.

I don’t get to experience this type of view much. I remember there were only “this” one, in Seattle, Washington. On top of the Space Needle… Freezing COLD and WINDY !! This one was on December 30, 2008. Hans, Heather and I had dinner here, fortunately enough they have table available for walk-in. We weren’t planning to eat here, it just that after we arrived at the hotel in Seattle, as usual, they decided to stay in the room for a while. Mean while, I went out and start walking, that is when I spot the ALIEN space craft and start walking toward it. By the time I get there, half hour later (and it was around 7pm, freezing cold), H2 called me, so I invited them over to the Space Needle for the restaurant. The food was amazing, the server was great, the view … just amazingly crazy, especially when the restaurant rotate while you are dining there, The Sky City. We get to see the entire Seattle by just sitter there. It was A la carte’ style, with full silver service. The cost??? Let’s not mention it. Haha. Let’s say that, it was an experience that I will never forget…

Another one was actually on December of 2007, but it was on top of City of Angel. It was at the Tallest building in Thailand, Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Bangkok. The resturant here doesn’t rotate like the one in Seattle. However they have an out door balcony that rotate, much faster than the one in Seattle. It was amazing memory, the unforgettable one, none the less, they have a live singer, by a Lady and a Gentleman with guitar that walk around the resturant and sing the song around the resturant. And whao… they walk to our table and I still remember the song, very clearly, and the moment was just… unexplainable.

The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, a landmark of the Pacific Northwest, and an icon of Seattle. It was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair, which drew over 2.3 million visitors, when nearly 20,000 people a day used its elevators.

Once the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River,it is 605 ft (184 m) high, 138 ft (42 m) wide, and weighs 9,550 tons. It is built to withstand winds of up to 200 miles per hour (89 m/s) and earthquakes of up to 9.1 magnitude,as strong as the 1700 Cascadia earthquake. It also has 25 lightning rods.

It has an observation deck at 520 ft (160 m) and the rotating SkyCity restaurant at 500 ft (150 m).The downtown Seattle skyline, as well as the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay and surrounding islands can be viewed from the top of the Needle. Photographs of the Seattle skyline often show the Space Needle prominently, above skyscrapers and Mount Rainier.

Visitors can reach the top of the Space Needle by elevators that travel at 10 miles per hour (4.5 m/s). The trip takes 41 seconds. On windy days, the elevators slow to 5 miles per hour (2.2 m/s). On April 19, 1999, the city's Landmarks Preservation Board designated it a historic landmark.
