The room looks a lot bigger without all the scrap wood in there. I figured out that the glass looks green because the other side was painted a lovely shade of hospital green at one point - glass and all. It's tentative shade is a purple-ish beige.
Lots of work to do tomorrow - cutting up the scrap wood, and tearing up the rug. You can see the scar where the walls once stood on it.
It took longer than I thought because I was careful to remove every nail from the firring strips. And had to sweep constantly to keep the floor clean and protected.
