Scan of a photo I took May 2, 1978. I believe I was using a 110 camera!!
Formerly at the Lenzen Ave. maintenance and fueling facility in San Jose, Ca., the historic roundhouse has since been deconstructed, palletized and stored for future use in a museum type setting.
The former Southern Pacific depot in Danville, CA.
In 1978 it was the home of the Danville Feed store.
In 2013 it is now the home of the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, after being moved a couple of blocks from its original location.

Was opened as a restaurant but it appeared to be permanently closed on my visit.
Marsilea sp. from vernal pool in the Los Vilos area of Chile (200 mm of annual precipitation) with water for only 5 months of the year. It was previously known as M. mollis, but is clearly an undescribed species, belonging to the small group of Marsileas with sporocarps that mature underground in very dry areas such as parts of Africa.
Spanish: Marsilea de lagunas temporales de la zona de Los Vilos, Chile (200 mm de PP anual) con agua solo 5 meses del año. Se concocia como M. mollis, pero claramente es una especie no descrita, del escaso grupo de Marsileas con esporocarpos que maduran bajo suelo de zonas muy secas como algunas de Africa
