Scan of a photo I took May 2, 1978. I believe I was using a 110 camera!!

Formerly at the Lenzen Ave. maintenance and fueling facility in San Jose, Ca., the historic roundhouse has since been deconstructed, palletized and stored for future use in a museum type setting.

The former Southern Pacific depot in Danville, CA.

In 1978 it was the home of the Danville Feed store.

In 2013 it is now the home of the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, after being moved a couple of blocks from its original location.

This was a hend-held shot with a lot of sunlight (as you can see).

Marsilea sp. from vernal pool in the Los Vilos area of Chile (200 mm of annual precipitation) with water for only 5 months of the year. It was previously known as M. mollis, but is clearly an undescribed species, belonging to the small group of Marsileas with sporocarps that mature underground in very dry areas such as parts of Africa.

i am in love with light. the way it falls gently, caressing a face or a figure...

the way it illuminates, how it conceals

how mood altering it can be

making the ordinary seem anything but

the way it makes you see what you did not before.
