Starting up out of Oaks Park to the delight of kids and families. It is fortunate that we have these engines that live in Portland and are alive! This engine sat in this park for almost 40 years until it was steamed again. It sounded great!

On June 2, 1984 as we rode Amtrak's Coast Starlight southbound to Los Angeles, Dad shot Southern Pacific SD9E 4343 (ex-SP SD9 3881, nee-SP 5403) at San Luis Obispo, California.

Tiny, grey - nearly translucent - cap just under 2 mm across, Stype about 8 mm long, pale grey - nearly transparent, gills same colour as cap with a distinct hollowing near the stype. Growing on a downed log in wet forest.
Note that you can virtually see the stype through the cap of the smaller one, and a distict area at the top of the cap in the larger specimen.
Cheryl Grgurinovic (pers. comm.) stated that she has collected this species "a number of times but don't know if it has a name".
Long before she became one of the star attractions at The California State Railroad Museum, Southern Pacific was one of the last passenger locomotives painted in the SP's famous "Daylight" paint scheme.
