Happy New Year!
I'm behind on editing things, so I jumped ahead so I could get this done just in time to still be relevant to the new year.
I feel like I should make some sort of goals for the new year, but I'm absolutely horrible at making concrete goals. I'm just going to try to continue to push myself and be the best person I can for the moment. Maybe one of my resolutions will be to start to form concrete goals and achieve them haha!
Perennial jazz festival players Soul Jazz Orchestra playing the big stage. My favorite performances of theirs, however, were their 2016 sets on the funky Club Jazz stage.
Thought I would add one more from this concert. If you ever get a chance to see Michael Franti, do it.

These images, titled āSouls of Cadizā, capture a vast beach filled with people transformed into ethereal, almost ghostly figures. Through careful editing and artistic color adjustments, each version highlights different moods and atmospheres, from dark and mysterious to vibrant and surreal. The identities of the individuals dissolve into a collective, abstract pattern, creating a contemplative and visually striking composition. Each variation emphasizes the interplay of shape, space, and color, turning ordinary beach scenes into a series of artistic explorations.
My second complete image with the William optics Redcat telescope. The Heart Nebula, also known as IC 1805, is an emission nebula located 7,500 lightyears away in the Cassiopeia constellation. The Heart Nebula is often imaged with IC 1848, which is known as the Soul Nebula as seen here. The Soul Nebula is a cloud of cosmic gas and dust 150 lightyears wide thatās being illuminated and carved by powerful streams of charged particles emanating from an open cluster of stars. This combination of the Redcat and the QHY268 Camera is truly amazing for widefield celestial objects. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for any constructive comments.
