Something old, something new and something really freakin' tall! Just down the block from our hotel in Toronto's entertainment district. There are many fun clubs on the street. Our favorite is "Hey Lucy!" Good pizza and street seating. "Fred's Not Here," also seems nice.

An artist village situated along Guangzhou's city parameters. This landmark has been a melting pot of various culture and arts and because of its proximity to the Guangzhou University town, it has been a haven for young creative individuals for quite some time now. The line between the suburban and urban areas of Guangzhou is marked in this place. In here, one can see the authentic rural lifestyle of the old cantonese providing a stark contrast with the mayhem of city life. This lifestyle serves as a constant fountain of inspiration for the artists living here. However, we had the photowalk on a chinese new year week and most of the shops are closed.

Live and learn, I suppose.

Time to finally get them off my computer, but I can't just trash them. Here they are for posterity.
