This September I want to learn new stuff about my self, my kid, my faith, my family and the community where we live. This is going to be both challen- ging and so much fun! I'm going to make it short and sweet (for the most part), hoping to keep it manage- able all month long! The main thing is to write a little everyday, then I'm pairing it with photos and pretty paper when I have a free hour or two. Can't wait to see what I'll discover. This September will rock! (Photo on the front page is from September 2009).

It was my husband's grandmothers 95th birthday today. To celebrate we had 4 generations of her family together with another baby on the way for my sister in law (she told us this weekend). Alot to celebrate and I loved looking through all her old photographs to see past generations. Just reminds me how much photography means to me.

Again, I cannot say it enough. This night seriously owned. I hope they do a tour.
A quick drawing while watering my friend D's flowers. Some other time, I will tell you about Marie Scott and her geraniums...
I am never happy with the results on my scanner so here I am experimenting with taking actual pictures of my sketches...
She looks very sad or something in these photos, but she is actually very happy! She loves these new little overalls that we received as trade from Peggy (Pei78)!
We thank you so much, and hope you receive and enjoy your trade soon too X3
(I am very much looking forward to seeing your little girls all dressed up! X3)
XD She's sooo cute ><
... was going on somewhere on the lake last night. The amphibious units of the police and fire departments were plying the water at break neck speeds going north.

I challenged myself to take my camera out and take something one usually sees and attempt to make it different. While we have seen thousands of pictures of flowers, I wanted to attempt to twist it and somehow make it my own. What I got was something different than the status quo, and something that was completely my own and not cliche.
