Noticed this tree looking a bit odd when on my travels back from 'Focus on Imaging 2013'... still, something about the image I like... I think!?
It's not finished [the back has no rear window or spare wheel mount], but it's been a back-burner experiment for a while now and it wanted to be posted.

Say something
I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one, if you want me to
Anywhere I would've followed you

And I am feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all
And I will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl
And I will swallow my pride
You're the one that I love
And I'm saying goodbye
Say something
I'm giving up on you
And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
And anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you...

...forget about questions, forget about how it appears, forget about how it looks, just care about how it feels...
...I am not into questioning, in fact I am sick of doing that for work. Getting down to the root of everything. I just want to relax and feel comfortable. Thats what I have set out to do at the begining but some how I have lost my direction...
...Don't get me wrong, what is in front of me might still be an illusion. But it is not a question of trust. What I see may still be something not quite as simple as it looks, but if it feels right...am i willing to get to the bottom of it?

Classic, timeless, and elegant. This wedding cake takes its inspiration from a vintage chandelier – but with a modern twist. The majestic tiers, soft white color palette, gilded accents and romantic use of light make this cake gorgeous and traditional. The modern twist? With a flair for drama, this cake floats above us, suspended from the ceiling!
Still kicking.
Photography is still very much a journey I am on, not so much desire to display at this point but I feel like each time I go out there and shoot I'm learning something new. That motivates me to keep trying to change my frame of reference and take what I learn in one situation and try it in another.
I've been dying for something warm. It seems like everything I've been shooting recently has been cold and it's starting to annoy me.
[BTW- my stream just now hit 80,000 in views! Thank you!!!]

Only my second sighting of a dipper so I am just pleased to get any sort of photograph! The water level was a bit high at the moment and I was probably staring at it for 3 minutes before I realised it was there!! I have a poor internet connection at the moment so I will catch up later on!

Decided to work with textures, it has been awhile. My husband planted wildflowers for me so I could practice taking pics of flowers. They are just starting to bloom...well the ones the dogs haven't flattened..they love to run through them..oh well..guess I can buy flowers to shoot ; ( Have a great weekend.
I know some guys are spending more on their appearance of late but this is ... . This is not one of my usual posed shots . This couple were just as you see and I thought thats something different ..

"The house, the stars, the desert -- what gives them their beauty is something that is invisible!"
— Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (The Little Prince)
Another beautiful house on the main street of Laurel, Delaware. This house is huge. There are many sections on the back and sides that can't be seen in this photo. I can imagine children playing hide-n-seek in the little nooks and crannies. In the room at the top with the green shingles, the window is stained glass and is shaped like a butterfly. I love the gingerbread trim on the front porch.
Photo looks best viewed in light box .... large on black.
Something beautiful...

Something happened to this poor film, either during the development, or before it got into my hands, but something's amiss here - red layer got crushed almost to nothing. I contemplated converting it to black & white, but decided against, I found this crushed look quite interesting. Here, ships in and near dock 5 in shipyard "Viktor Lenac".
Taken with my Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic F film camera, with Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm F3.5 tele lens, on apparently expired and improperly stored roll of Kodak Gold 200 film, shot at box speed. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 dedicated film scanner, edited heavily, massaged as much as possible out of crushed film.
