A revisit to the passage to Omicron Station with my new ReShade settings
downtown San Francisco, SOMA area close to 1st Street and Ecker...a view of the narrow band of space between buildings, a delight to view and to walk through...

I've had these bars on the Kogswell for about a month now. I love them. With an 80mm VO stem replacing the previous 110mm stem, I've got a fantastic upright position. They're also better for climbing than the Mary bars were, and I get more cargo space for tall-ish things.
A+ Highly Recommended.
Elements of the Soma Cube with each piece folded from a single sheet of paper.
The first 5 ones are based on the technique describe by Toki Yenn for his Umulius Rectangulum with a basic box closure.
The two last ones ("T" and "corner" shapes) use my own method. THere are not as elegant as the others but I could not find a better solution.

SOMA is an amazing 28-foot tall creature, occupying a space about 40 x 25 feet at Unity Plaza in downtown Vallejo. Created by the Flaming Lotus Girls for Burning Man in 2009, the sculpture was brought to Vallejo recently for a 2-year visit.
Representing two neurons connected by an axon bridge, observers can interact by pressing several buttons causing the LED light display to fire communication over the bridge.

We started with the bare frame, and it went together fairly seamlessly. The trickiest part was installing the fenders, but even that wasn’t too bad. Rides like a dream. Smooth, relaxed, but handles very well and is actually quite fast. The drivetrain all works flawlessly, and the bar ends are actually quite nice after using STI’s for so long. Absolutely love the Nitto Albatross bars. And these tires are incredible, the smoothest fastest rolling tires I’ve used to date! My dad chose every single part, so it is truly HIS bike!

Soma is always playing with new commuter bike platforms. The mini-velo style popular in Japan. Road and commuter bikes with 20 inch wheels and shortish wheel base makes for a bike that is easier to store in a studio apartment and manuever into an elevator. It accelerates quite well. Rides similar to a folding bike with 20" skinny tires, but stiffer and klunk-free. No production date yet.
I folded last year a Soma Cube with each element made from Sonobe modules. Since then I was trying to fold each piece from a single sheet. Here is the result !

Theres certainly no mistaking what iconic 1970's supercar this Soma model was meant to be representing! The Lamborghini Countach was the mainstay exotica in most toy ranges from this period onwards and considering its difficult to replicate body shape they did a very clean and crisp job. Part of a 20 vehicle set bought recently. Mint and boxed.

Finally completed assembling the Soma Cube from the 10cm squares of wood grain memo pad papers. The assembly is very much stable with some of the Sonobe modules being modified by releasing the folded corner/s of the paper. Having all the 7 pieces of the Soma Cube of the same colour will pose a more challenging task to reconstruct the assembled solutions.
