leid - sorrow
wie bin ich vorgespannt
den kohlenwagen meiner trauer!
widrig wie die spinne
bekriecht mich die zeit.
fällt mein haar, ergraut mein haupt zum feld,
darüber der letzte
schnitter sichelt.
schlaf umdunkelt mein gebein.
im traum schon starb ich,
gras schoß aus meinem schädel,
aus schwarzer erde war mein kopf.

We started with the bare frame, and it went together fairly seamlessly. The trickiest part was installing the fenders, but even that wasn’t too bad. Rides like a dream. Smooth, relaxed, but handles very well and is actually quite fast. The drivetrain all works flawlessly, and the bar ends are actually quite nice after using STI’s for so long. Absolutely love the Nitto Albatross bars. And these tires are incredible, the smoothest fastest rolling tires I’ve used to date! My dad chose every single part, so it is truly HIS bike!
