This small birdfeeder is just the right size for the smaller birds, and a bit too small for the bigger birds.
Seen here is a House Finch couple, male and female, making the most of a quiet meal. The feeder is more or less sheltered by an overgrown camellia bush. Lots of shade, and nooks and crannies to hide in if necessary. Other small birds who like this feeder are the Chickadees, Titmice, Goldfinches and probably others I'm forgetting.
We have seen a few Cardinals manage to cling on to those round ports from time to time, but it must be too much work with not enough payoff, because they usually move on to the other, more accessible feeders.
The completed 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle "Policeman Dreams," from the fine painting by artist Dan Hatala, and manufactured by MasterPieces. This one of their "Childhood Dreams" puzzle series. It was both a challenge and a joy to complete.

No not me the Cathedral. You can see Ely Cathedral from miles away sitting as does on a hill and being the biggest structure around for miles. Have to say for me its pretty ugly Still it's an amazing building as are the associated structures tot he complex.
Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) test weight car no. 999951 (Altoona Shop, 1909) is seen at the Danbury Railway Museum. Conveniently the cars on the track behind it were far enough apart that it could be framed as if it's connected with them, albeit at the wrong scale of course!
The Witch Head Nebula (also known as IC 2118) is a faint, eerie-looking reflection nebula in the constellation Eridanus, near the bright star Rigel in the neighbouring constellation Orion. Its name comes from its resemblance to the profile of a witch's face, complete with a hooked nose and chin.
This rendition is a little different. The image scale of my instrument does not allow the entire Witch head to be seen, only the chin and nose are in the frame. I have also flipped the traditional orientation, which is upside down in the version. I think it works in this orientation, the highlighting at the top is my favourite part.
Here are some key features:
Composition: The nebula is made up of interstellar dust and gas that reflects the light of nearby stars, primarily Rigel. This scattered light gives the nebula its characteristic bluish colour, enhanced by the dust particles, which scatter blue light more efficiently than red.
Location and Size: It lies approximately 900 to 1,000 light-years from Earth and spans about 50 light-years, making it a large structure in the sky.
Illumination: The bright light from Rigel is the primary source of illumination, but other nearby stars also contribute. The nebula's reflection effect is similar to how Earth's atmosphere scatters sunlight.
Appearance: Its spooky, ghostly shape and faint glow make it a striking subject for astrophotographers and astronomers.
Astronomical Interest: The nebula's dusty regions are of interest for studying the processes of star formation and the interaction of starlight with interstellar matter.
The Witch Head Nebula is a fascinating example of how simple interstellar materials can create striking, familiar shapes in the cosmos when viewed from Earth.

Jar Jar Minifigure is tired to be "mistreated" by the entire Lego universe so he was thinking (hey wait, he can think?! Lol ) about revenge.
One day, by skill and intelligence ( very unlikely) or by luck (very likely) he was able to contact his Action Figure version from a parallel universe.
The Jar Jar Action Figure was obviously mistreated by every other figure lol and so they two Jar Jar had an idea ( it takes two Jar Jar to have an idea, since alone they can't have one lol ) to exact some revenge.
The action figure reached the Lego universe when he thought his larger size would have proved a threat for other Minfigures.
However he runs into Lex Luthor and his high tech mech.
Since now Lex is not "completely" a bad guy (still egomaniac, of course) he soon decides to act like a hero and give the oversized Jar Jar a lesson :)
Jar Jar: "Mesa Bombad Godzilla! Mesa boom everything! Mesa.."
Lex's Mech grabs Jar Jar.
Lex: " Your existence offends the very concept of intelligence and stupidity is the greatest crime! Beside I have no time for galactic annoyances on steroid. So hold still while I test my new weapon on your empty head."
In the end Jar Jar' size matters not :) He is always treated like that lol :)
Like I always say there is no real hate toward any character, creator of characters or actors who played any character. This is just a little parody made for fun :)
May the Brick be with You :)
When I saw Pauline with her somewhat ruined hairdo today I had to think of Blythe and the pictures of the Blythe Behind group...
