The black kite (Milvus migrans) is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors. Their color ranges from light brown to dark brownish black.
This is predator bird which is found in many Indian cities
Black kites are most often seen gliding and soaring on thermals as they search for food. The flight is buoyant and the bird glides with ease, changing directions easily. They will swoop down with their legs lowered to snatch small live prey, fish, household refuse and carrion,

I was driving out of Kananaskis country (lots of trees) when I noticed that cloud. As I left the forest, and entered the rolling hills, that cloud grew bigger and bigger. I snapped a few pictures and then embraced myself as I drove back home, hidden somewhere in that mess. Needless to say, this was amazing to witness and an honour to capture.
I've learned that it doesn't matter how big your house is, apparently, it is not big enough. ^_^

I’m not sure which wild critters the food in this hanging wooden feeder was intended for. But there was no doubt who had dibs when I came upon the scene on Wednesday at a local historical site; Mr. Racoon was leisurely having his fill, while Mr. Squirrel was forced to wait his turn.

When I ordered a mini set of salt and pepper shakers to "spice" things up a bit for STB and the guys I never imagined they would come in the smallest Zip Lock Baggie ever!
I tried to think of something universal for scale to show how small this teeny tiny baggie really is, and decided on this average size strawberry.
Those of you who are familiar with STB will have to act surprised once you finally see the salt and pepper shakers. 😊
