These vanilla cupcakes were for a baby shower. The teddies in nappies are a variation on the christening cupcakes with the teddy bears and blankets. It took a couple of go’s to figure out how to wrap the (supposedly) cloth-nappy around the bear’s bottom and get all the natural creases around the legs. It was good fun though, especially arranging the teddies into different poses. The washing line was inspired by the cover of a novel I borrowed from the library – one of my favorite refuge and a great source of inspiration.

Perseids meteor shower is happening due to passage of Earth in the orbit of Comet swift - tuttle. This celestial fireworks occurred due to burning of comet debris in our atmosphere. It is the biggest meteor shower of the year. It can reach 60 meteor per hour. Image taken from Bortle sky 3 on 12/08/2021 @ 22:30.

Anna's Hummingbird ...Seen in Explore.... Found this hummer having a shower in my sprinkler system in the garden. Wet weather heading up Loch Ness and the Great Glen. I like the headlight of a vehicle on the road up to Inverness, perhaps the folk in it are looking out for Nessie?

This is talen from the ruins of one of the oldest churches in the Highlands, established nearly 1500 years ago by St Moluag. There are a number of recumbent slab grave markers but they are gradually disappearing under the turf.

There are two hillforts on the rocky peak on the left, one on top and the other hidden on the far side. The silhouetted tree on top looks like an ancient druid with his arms out doing some sort of ritual!

i just take pictures of stuff when I get bored. Today's treat: a monochromatic asymetrical grid subject.

Time to shower,wash away the fatigue...

Hyperlapse of a snow shower coming down the valley at me. Just a week earlier here on NF 29 in Gifford Pinchot National Forest, it was warm, the sun was out, and there were butterflies everywhere. I guess winter isn't ready to give up just yet.

Showers on Mendinee Plains

Well, back home from Florida today, and I have to say, I'm now so proud to call this lady my wife!!!

We had such a lovely couple of weeks, it's a shame to come home, but home we must as weddings to shoot.
