The waterfall here at Ash Cave located in Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio had just enough flow for a shower.

Taken three weeks ago (yup, still behind...), this was taken on a walk home from work and is round about the time my walk began to turn into a forced march as the rainclouds heading my way. I made it. Just.
Ladybird (Coccinella 7- punctata) enjoying an early morning shower.. it sat here for well over half an hour.
Crucifix Orchid in late afternoon sun following yet another shower. In my Gold Coast hinterland home garden.
Storm Babet is bringing disruption, flooding and loss of life to Northern Britain especially the east of Scotland.
Here in the south west its a patchy affair, heavy showers interspersed with bright skies.

Previously unpublished shot captured in May 2019. It has been a very dry April this year and now, as May begins, the April showers have arrived. Enjoy!
Tulip 'Little Beauty' only opens in the sun... and I have yet to see it fooled by April laughing between fits of tears...
In front of a line with thundery showers a few isolated ones developed. They were rather weak, but nice to watch.
This Cumulonimbus looks small on the photograph, but realize that it was shot with a 14mm lens on full frame....
Shower Cave Falls in the Meander Valley. A sometimes difficult, three hour return hike but well worth the effort!
The metadata is slightly off due to the fact that I blended two photographs...... there was also a longer exposure image used for the water.
