This image of Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon was taken just as a veil of mist started to lift, revealing the numerous shapes and forms of the icebergs that are making their way out to sea. In the distance, low clouds mask off the bottom half of a peak, leaving just its top exposed, removing the scale and giving the illusion of a much larger and formidable mountain. I chose the title 'Shifting World' due to the fact that as I watched the scene unfold, the only things that remained still were the two gulls, perched on the nearest iceberg, watching as everything around them shifted in this unstable environment.

I managed to spot some lovely crepuscular rays over the sea recently and rushed down a field to catch it. Glad I did, it was a spectacular show! The manacles are a group of rocks that stretch nearly a mile just below the surface of the water. Extremely hazardous to ships, there are countless wrecks there.
Seasonal Shift - At ~10-12 months of age, this young Bobcat will be left to fend for itself. I lay down and shot in vertical orientation to capture this scene with the redbud blooms in the background signaling the change of seasons to Spring and a big change in this young animal's life.

The Thames Barrier taken tonight it was very cold and very windy I had to shield the tripod to stop the thing moving in the wind! A long exposure of 55 sec at f/22 , went with a very good friend of mine Jan ( jankmarshall ) who also is a fellow flickrette!
Fenniarail's timber train from Pori to Kouvola is passing the Hämeenlinna railway station as the night is setting. Because of the upcoming passenger train, the train slows down to wait it as the train is making a gradual shift towards the darkness.
Playing with different camera effects in the rain today i caught this guy who looked like he was shape shifting.

Shimano bar end shifter on my "urban cycle" created after I redid this former high end Norco Nitro mountain bike that I bought in 1993. I took off the Rock Shox, replaced them with a more traditional front fork to suit the bike. See other previous photo for more information.
I don't have tilt-shift lens, but I have hands and old helios! :)
