Vishnu Nandi Temple. After convincing a rickshaw driver to navigate through 45 min of really bumpy dirt track we got to this amazingly peaceful temple, which shared space with a few old champa trees... needless to say, there were no other beings around.

July's Friday Late invited visitors to resist mass production and uncover how hacked machines and open source design are changing the way we make and live.

The monarchs gather each fall at the Peninsula Point State Park in Stonington (Upper Peninsula of Michigan). They wait there along the shores of Lake Michigan for a north wind or favorable flying conditions. When the time is right, they fly en masse over Lake Michigan and continue on their long journey to Mexico.
Formerly Coldwater Creek; the store has been re-leased as Lululemon Athletica; a retailer which sells yoga apparel.
Lululemon (written as lululemon) was founded in 1998 in Vancouver, Canada (thanks to Darrell for that bit of info!) the original store it seems included a design studio, a retail store, and shared space with a yoga studio. The chain operates 201 stores or so across the US, Canada, New Zealand and the Land of Oz, Australia.
"Shared Space. Drive with Care" - Kimbrose Square, Gloucester. Shared space is an urban design concept aimed at integrated use of public spaces. Shared space removes the traditional segregation of motor vehicles, pedestrians and other road users. Conventional road priority management systems and devices such as kerbs, lines, signs and signals are replaced with an integrated, people-oriented understanding of public space, such that walking, cycling, shopping and driving cars become integrated activities. No casualties at Kimbrose Square so far.
