My husband and I were having a lovely picnic on a deserted island in French Polynesia. My intent was to take a photo of the chicken cooking on the barbecue in the foreground. But I also managed to capture the island's resident chickens (who were very much alive) in the background, looking upon the macabre scene of their relatives roasting nicely on the grill.
I felt kinda weird about the whole thing, the roosters looked like they were certainly planning their revenge. I had the fish.
“A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before the change.”
We did a special photo shoot first thing on Saturday- before it got too crowded. Sharron had the idea to get the Fantastikals with Scooby, the Great Horned owl. (reason is because he's the chillest of all their birds). So we had some fun with it. (they did another shoot a week later, but it happened during a joust and I don't miss a joust).

Outside Serendipity, the famous restaurant on East 60th Street which was used in a film with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. They sell Frozen Hot Chocolate and the most enormous desserts ever seen.
This is the sweetest mare out at the ranch. She is just awesome. She helped me realize my love of horses, and helped me get over my fear of them. She is so calm, easy and just paitent.
I'm sad that she is retired, but I get to see her every day, so I should consider myself lucky. I rode in my first show on her, and even though we looked silly, I was only 10 at the time, we had blast.
We tried to breed her to a really nice stallion, but she never took. She is too old ): I ride her around in the pasture time to time just to reminicence on our years of fun :)

I was actually thinking about painting it black, but I accidentally got some of my lens cleaning cocktail on the metal and noticed the patina wiped right away. Kind of missed the focus here, but you can see the part I started to clean on the right-hand side.
