co n'pezzo de cartone se fa er letto.

L'incontaminato torrente Scerto che scorre ai piedi del maestoso anfiteatro dolomitico della Camosciara. Questo lembo di terra fu il nucleo originario del parco nazionale d'Abruzzo, il piu' antico parco nazionale d'Italia, innaugurato nel 1922 e riconosciuto nel 1923. Oggi il Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise (il cui cambio di nome avvenne con Legge 23 marzo 2001, n. 93 per puri fini turistici immagino...) e' considerato uno dei parchi piu' belli d'Europa.

Recentemente la Lonely Planet l'ha incluso tra i 5 parchi piu' belli d'Europa.

 

Commenti, suggerimenti e critiche costruttive sono estremamente graditi. Non so decidere quale dei due scatti (uno e' di sotto) sia il meno peggiore. Ho usato un filtro polarizzatore.

S.A.S. NAGAR (MOHALI) - The Punjab Education department has decided to organize month long programmes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Punjabi Suba before the commencement of festivities on 1st November by the state government. Disclosing this here today at the Punjab School Education Board auditorium while presiding over a high level meeting summoned to chalk out strategy for the celebrations, Education Minister, Punjab, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that the celebrations would be held from mid September to mid October. He also disclosed that the purpose behind these celebrations is to sensitize the young generation about glorious cultural heritage of Punjab. He further stated that a logo and a theme would soon be released regarding these festivities.

 

In a statement, Dr. Cheema said that the functions would be held from block to state level including curricular, extra co-curricular, traditional and folk sports competitions amongst the students centered on Punjabi Suba. During the celebrations, Punjabi language, literature, cultural heritage, moral values, folk dances, folk songs, folk instruments and traditional sports of Punjab would form an integral part. In traditional sports, kotla chhapaki, rumal chukna, rassi tappna, pitthoo garam, peecho stapu, kikli events would be held. He also informed that chaste Punjabi speaking competitions would be the center of attraction.

   

Divulging more, Dr. Cheema said that events pertaining to poetry recitation, painting, essay, waar gayan, kawishri would be held too. Disclosing further, he said that during the functions a booklet to be published by the Punjab School Education Board chronicling the history of Punjabi Suba would also be released which would be made part of the libraries in order to make the next generation aware of the history of the state. Dr. Cheema also divulged that a Punjabi portal is in the offing to make Punjabi diaspora settled abroad learn their mother tongue. One aspect of this exercise is to enable NRI Punjabi’s to receive instruction in Punjabi course sitting at home as well as take exam.

 

The Education Minister also revealed that during the course of celebrations, an exhibition depicting Punjabi culture and traditions would also be held in which Kainthe, Chhajj, Jhanjran, Tavitian, Saggi-Phull, Parandas, Phulkaris, Ukhli-Sote, Bharoley, Khes, Doley, Chataiyaan, Cooch, Panja Hatthiyan, Durriyan, Rath, Gadde, Thokran, Halatt, Tindan, Pairs of Oxes, Pakkhiyan, Naale, Bharoli, Sanglian, Panjalian, Charkhe would be showcased to the children so as to ensure that they are connected with the rich heritage of Punjab. Stating further, the Education Minister said that during the celebrations the students would be taken to tour the historical sites of the state. He also informed that an organizing committee has been constituted under the Principal Secretary, Education, Mr. G. Vajralingam for the smooth conduct of celebrations. Apart from this, a sub-committee has been formed concerning every aspect which has been given the time-frame of 1 week to formulate the roadmap regarding the celebrations. After this, another meeting would take place.

Shaheena of Paliganj, who attends the study centre at Bikram, says she is learning how to handle children of various ability in her class. Teachers attend the open distance learning course at the Badshah Navaz Rizvi Training College (BNRT) in Gulzarbagh, Patna in the Indian state of Bihar. State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and UNICEF has formulated and introduced an open Distance Learning module for in service government teachers. Open Distance Learning is a specially designed distance study module for not so up-to-date government school teachers. Through this initiative state governmentt target to train 1.61 lakh in service elementary teachers. Most of the tasks, assignments, projects can be done in classroom only. On Saturday and Sunday teachers go to attend class on their respective centre. This 2 year long course was designed by SCERT with support of UNICEF and after completion of this course teachers gets UGC recognized Diploma in Education (DEd).

For the past five months, government school teacher, Ashok Kumar has been cycling from his home, on weekends for 16 kilometers each way to attend the open distance learning course at Bikram in district Patna in Eastern Indian state of Bihar. No concessions have been made even for public holidays like Holi or Chhath_ BiharÕs biggest festival. Besides giving up a weekly holiday, Ashok Kumar must also put in about two hours of daily study. This is in addition to his teaching duties. All these efforts are well worth it believes Ashok Kumar and feels this innovative open distance learning course that he is undertaking, free of cost, will bring benefits not just for himself but also to his pupils. Teachers attend the open distance learning course at the Badshah Navaz Rizvi Training College (BNRT) in Gulzarbagh, Patna in the Indian state of Bihar. State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and UNICEF has formulated and introduced an open Distance Learning module for in service government teachers. Open Distance Learning is a specially designed distance study module for not so up-to-date government school teachers. Through this initiative state governmentt target to train 1.61 lakh in service elementary teachers. Most of the tasks, assignments, projects can be done in classroom only. On Saturday and Sunday teachers go to attend class on their respective centre. This 2 year long course was designed by SCERT with support of UNICEF and after completion of this course teachers gets UGC recognized Diploma in Education (DEd).

Government Middle School, Jethui, Hajipur, Vaishalli, Bihar, India, 28 March 2014: Neetu Kumari studies in the 5th grade at the Government Middle school in Jethui Hajipur in Bihar. Learning Facilitation Manual is a part of UNICEF and BEP's(Bihar Education Project) collaborative initiatives packaged under the umbrella of 'Samjhe Seekhen-II' program that aims at creating Child Friendly Schools and improving the learning levels of all children. Learning Facilitation Manual (LFM) has been jointly developed by UNICEF, SCERT(State Council for Educational Research and Training) & BEP(Bihar Education Project). UNICEF is especially supporting 548 model schools across Bihar in using LFMs. Beside these 548 schools, schools from 33 gram panchayats of Vaishali are also being supported.
