The scary Jesus statue outside St. Martin's church in Basildon. I grew up terrified of this thing. Why is he just floating above the church doorway? Why is he impaled with multiple spikes like a human kerplunk? Why is one of his feet missing? It's horrible and so is the church building, just a big oblong box finished in dark, almost black, brickwork. Just horrible.

I just had to give you this one. This is our daughter's friend's daughter last night when they went out trick or treating for Halloween.
I am not into this but like everything these days, it's a chance for businesses to make a buck! So it gets bigger every year as you would all know.
Her brother has coulrophobia, fear of clowns and so she milked it for all it was worth! It's called PAYBACK! I will endorse that.
