This photo of clouds at sunset may look just like the one next to it, but this one has a Oil Paint 1 technique on it, but no Sharp technique and not as much contrast as the other one. The other one has no Oil Paint 1 technique, but does have more contrast, and has Sharp technique. I'm curious which one people like better, if they like either one at all.

I have some similar versions of this shot also taken the same day, but this is the version I like the best.

So they say I need to have a second eval. I told them I was in rough shape with a suicide in the family and just because I took 2 nerve pills they said I had to come back for another evaluation. Flickn A. The tooth does not give me a problem anymore and I paid $181.00 US dollars for this! I’m not going back if they are going to charge me AGAIN!!

These are real trees on a real street with a real car coming around the curve, in Springfield, Lane County, Oregon USA. There was a light fog. I had a lot of fun trying different techniques with my photo. Plastic Wrap Technique among others.
P. S. I stood in the cold and mist on a a very busy street corner the other day, probably appearing loony to people driving by (that is OK, because I am a little bit). But I knew what little curve of trees I wanted and I knew I couldn't get them without the stop signs, and power lines in the way unless I walked a bit, and I had to click quickly between the vehicles going by every which way. Working at it made the shot a little more rewarding anyway, and then I compounded my fun by trying variations of it. .

Kadiga is 24 and from Port Sudan where her father was Dr Ellison Kassala, the CEO of Kassala Industrial Technology company plc. $4.75m in London. She hasn't yet responded to my compliment on her VPL.
This is also Tina Odily, 23 from Liberia, single, and "fair in complexion". Her father was Dr Odily James, director of Diamond Extrusion Limited, of Mary land, Liberia, and he has $4.3m in a "leading bank"
That's right. Each male services about 17 females. And they don't just call. They preen and spread out their brilliant red shoulder/feathers, sometimes even showing some of the lesser amount of yellow.

I find it somewhat amusing that out of a humongous oak tree, really, really tall with lots of extremely thick branches that he would choose this one stupid, low-lying, thin twiggy little branch to balance on. It didn't lead to anything that I could see. Nothing of interest, nothing that led to any other route. He really didn't consult me on the whole issue, though. He didn't even see me. LOL

Just his head! It shows one eye, teeth, and snout. Lots of log and plants underneath him, no water. He is facing to the viewers' right.

Creighton is my *prop* puppy, but the little tabby kitten was up for adoption. Shenandoah anxiously watched for people to notice her and take her home with them, and of course, some people did just that!

Rose loves this toy raccoon, almost to death. She gets him in her jaws and tosses her head back and forth and pounces on him. Rose attempts to kill him about twelve to fifteen times a day. The raccoon, looking as if he doesn't have good sense, just smiles that same plastered on looking smile through the beatings, and then they lie down together for the night. The raccoon tried to get a restraining order against Rose, but nobody believed a male victim. He will go back to his abuser the usual 7 times it takes before an abused partner finally leaves for good. By then, his tail, his nose and his eyes will probably be chewed off. The END
P. S. If any of this little tale sounds too familiar and too human to you, I urge you to call your nearest Domestic Violence Center. One can be found in many, many cities. Domestic Violence can happen to males or females, different ages and different sexual orientations. I usually try not to get overly preachy with my little stories, but as I was writing this one it occurred to me it might serve as a vehicle to get someone to go seek help.
P. S. For those of you who are worried that Rose might choke, her family and I watch the things that could come loose on the raccoon and choke Rose, very carefully. I must say, so far, it is one really well made toy.

The itty bitty ones are not really so tiny. They are just far away, so perspective distortion makes them appear so.

Yes, it is another dress, but more importantly, in these days of COVID-19 when there is so much information and disinformation flying around, beware the scammers and hackers.
This morning I had an email from what was purportedly the UK Govt trying to get me to click a link related to COVID-19 ... and then later today I read this - www.euronews.com/2020/03/06/victims-of-coronavirus-scams-...
Be careful out there ... Coronavirus may be tricky but it isn't a trickster, that's a speciality of humans.

For Dave C., The *soul* of this one is me and my granddaughter having our first visit in quite a while. I had gotten her a stuffed shark (private joke) and it was almost as cheap to buy two, and get myself one and get free shipping for both of them, as it was to only buy one and pay shipping. Someday I suppose I'll write about the private joke part, but I think I already may have done so. Anyway, the soul is having fun with my only grandchild and our matching sharks, Fang & Fin.

I remember when I was about to turn 16, my parents who were hopelessly lost in social climbing, appearances, etc. were very upset with me that I bought an inexpensive gold charm for myself for my upcoming birthday. They insisted that I return mine to the jewelry store in Downtown Oakland, California. It seems that they had bought me a nice 14K (or more) gold charm and were going to have it engraved for me. They were not the greatest parents in the world most of the time, but birthdays and Christmas were generally special, wonderful and to be treasured over the years.
After they had laid on considerable guilt for me not mind-reading that they might be getting me some sort of Sweet 16 charm, they calmed down a bit. I returned the one I had bought for myself to the jewelry store. A few days later, my mother wanted to know if it would be alright to engrave the date on the back side of my charm. I asked her, "Why would I mind that?" She replied in her often imperious tone, that if people saw my charm was for Sweet 16, and could see the date that I had turned 16, they could calculate when I was born. (Snarky remark here...I thought it, but didn't say it...Yes, Mom, all the socialites you court must all be rocket scientists to be able to figure out my age by knowing when I was Sweet Sixteen). Years in the future they could tell by admiring my charm bracelet if I had turned 50 or 60 or so on. I told my Mom that the exact date would be great, nice, unique, special and I would like it. I wouldn't mind if people knew my age.
So, here it is all these years later. I was born in 1947 on October 24th, no matter what is or isn't engraved on my charms. I like to say fondly that I was born in the last few years of the first half of the last century of the last millennium. It is fun, and makes me sound puzzlingly old. I think it was United Nations Day. I think it is on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio.
So I will be 73 on October 24, 2020 and really don't mind who knows. People who know me very well know they don't need to surreptitiously look at the back of one of my charms to determine my age. They have only just to ask me.
;o)

This was a real blossom from either a Flowering Plum or Cherry Blossom Tree. I took the image with my cell-phone and used one of their programs for the first time. Then I ran it though some photo programs in my computer, and I liked this result.

This version of my original straightforward photo has a lot of different photo program techniques on it, and is the same as the one uploaded right before it, except that one has an additional watercolor technique and early release technique.
Do you like one version better than the other?
