Info : I happen to see a sheep with a cross on its face. Straight away, it remind me on a Japanese animation series call 'Samurai X' where the hero 'Kim sum' has a cross resemble the sheep. Here I try to capture the lighting and fur texture to the maximum Enjoy flickr friends and members.
A pile of a natural stone pebbles makes an impression of a Japanese samurai warrior. You can also read the Matsuo Basho's haiku: No blossoms and no moon, And he is drinking sake All alone. Feel free to say some words of encouragement to this lonely samurai.

My entry for the Tri-Color category of the 2020 Summer Joust. Photography was really fighting me on this, but I really like the build itself. Doing this requires an obscene amount of 1x1 round bricks and 1x1 bamboo pieces but after more Bricklink orders than expected, I barely got 3 angles of 100% LEGO!
So I’ve been slowly pinching parts from my Star Wars buildable figure collection for future projects and decided it’s time to dismantle them. I’ve also had an itch to build a small figure for a little while but never really knew exactly what to make. So as usual I played a bit of hollow knight and got inspired again... I was immediately drawn to the praetorian guard shoulder armour piece. After adding some extra pieces it ended up looking a bit like a samurai helmet. As I had never made a samurai before I thought hey why not.

The glasses now are available with 3 legs fits, normal, narrow and wide, also is included a new hang version to use as accesory on your shirt. The legs fits are all included, and was made with the idea of make it easier or more precise the fit on differents types of head shapes. Also, took time to look on the upcoming fashion trends, and with that on mind added a lot of new tones, based on the winter 2021 trends giving you the chance to rock the season trend colors on your outfits. Hope you have fun with the release and feel useful the new additions.

Holy shitballs I've been working on this baby all day, and it's finally done! Overall, I'm really proud of how this turned out, I'm a huge fan of Genndy Tartakovsky and his art style is the biggest inspiration of my own. Now this is obviously a homage to the poster of Season 5 of Samurai Jack, but with Aquaman and his look in Batman v. Superman! This first started out as just a sketch in my sketchbook, which you can see here: www.flickr.com/photos/antdude3001/35277766755/in/datepost... , but I wanted more. What I did was I took a photo of the sketch then traced over every line. I'm a fan of the digital version more because of the shading and coloring, the hair is a billion times better than it was in my original drawing. Then to top it all off with a little photoshop magic, I put in in the rainy background of that Season 5 poster. I must say, this probably my favorite piece of art that I've ever created, I really want a poster with this on it! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below!
Thought I'd get in a quick fig, as this might my last for chance (for a little while at least).
I've been wanting to make a Samurai based figure for ages and in contrast to my usual approach, I decided to go with third party stuff here, instead of sculpting everything from scratch.
I love the MCAT Samurai parts, so I went with those and just added a little paintwork here and there (quite minimal actually) and I finished it off with a custom fabric Hakama (skirt).
Maybe I'll have time to do the Ninja as well ; )
Bonus point for guessing the Lego head (quite easy really).
