Salad at Polynation. Sadly, they don't include greens in the salad bar, so I couldn't follow the Dean's example and increase the depth of the bowl by constructing buttresses and ramparts of celery and lettuce.

The Fernandez' brought 2 kinds of salad. This was one of them and the other is a Spring Salad, which is a favorite of mine. I took the leftover spring salad home. Yum.

 

The salads were the only other things I could eat.

Onion, spring onion, tomato, red sweet pepper, daikon, cucumber, chopped rocket, chopped coriander and a dressing of peanutoil, fishsauce, sugar, lemonjuice, pepper, salt.

This is a salad.

 

It was extremely nice.

Roasted acorn squash, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions.

If I added chickpeas, kidney beans or another protein source, this would make a typical dinner for me.

With cucumber dill dressing.

 

At the Town Line Diner in Rocky Hill, CT.

Spring mix, a little diced red pepper, avocado, strawberries, cucumber, and some leftover chicken. Topped with no-fat California salad dressing.
