This sail boat was one of many out on San Francisco Bay on this day. Seen under "power" the winds did not behave today and sails were not flown on most boats.

As I prepare for another vacation through Quebec I was looking at my photos from last year. This sail boat is at BIC national park along the south shore. We again are staying at BIC. now being familiar with BIC I am sure to take the proper equipment. This photo of the sail boat was taken at the Tea house in BIC.
Can one ever post enough pictures of Isalei sailing?.........well, I say no!
Isalei, a Hallberg Rassy ketch glides across the Irish Sea towards the Isle of Man.
You can watch a short film taken with this camera and lens of Isalei sailing across the Irish Sea by clicking onto the following YouTube link : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx2Mo0Mvtps

Even though the American Waterfront at Tokyo Disney Sea has nothing to do other than shop for Duffy and eat crappy Hot Dogs, the views and details are so spectacular that you can't help but want to spend the whole day there.

In queste grigie giornate di novembre, mi piace tornare con la mente all'estate. Al mare, al vento ed alle vele storiche di Imperia.
Consiglio: ascoltare in sottofondo Odysseus di F.Guccini
Buon fine settimana, amici miei!

In these cold november days, my mind goes back to last summer. To the sea, wind and sails of Imperia.
Happy weekend, my friends!

A sail boat on the Elbe-Lübeck Canal in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. We followed this canal for several hours and saw some cool boats.
Obviously, this was going on motor power and not sail power.

Flowing and gliding
The flow of the blue, fast, unpredictable running water
The hold and the power it holds over your journey and your choices
The never ending journey, the journey of your life
The wind changing your direction, making the choices
Ever further drifting to an estuary of the river
The end of your journey, your cloud nine, your seventh heaven
The karma of your world, your dreamland, your last destination.

Well over a month ago, maybe even two, I promised myself that when I updated my computer I would waste no time in working on my pictures that have been collecting digital dust in my harddrive. In the past month I've moved apartments, attended a wedding, and babysat my two adorable nephews, among many other things. And now that I finally have myself set up, I find that I have many many things I need to catch up on before I can fulfill that promise.
So I'm not back yet. I'm hitting the snooze button on this hiatus. But I hope it won't be too long till I wake and throw myself fully into this passion once more.
