What would you call this one? Tribal? I'm having trouble describing this pattern.

This is the sign I was in search of, the sign I drove nearly 90 minutes to find. That is, 90 minutes from the *correct* turn off. First though, I went the wrong way and ended up in Virginia Dale (see previous images) ... by the time I made it back and over to the designated spot, a storm had come on, and I was *so* mad at myself for once again reading a map backward (sigh), and missing my chance. But then all of a sudden, a ray of light broke through the clouds. Directly on the sign and the area immediately around it. I was so happy!!! People, this is the kind of luck I had all the time, in Colorado ... too many clouds? Shadow? Rain? Why, I'd just wait a moment, stand out in the splendid wide open, quietly take it all in, and soon enough, the light would change in the most wonderful way.

a try at texturing. I hardly do that. Being a graphic designer, I try to keep away from photoshop and keep thing as original as possible. I am not showing my design skills, am here for my love of photography.
A few customers sit at the bar inside The Manitou in northwest Michigan. The place is quite rustic looking and what you might expect in the middle of nowhere not far from the Lake Michigan shore. The food is quite good.

Found image. I find this photograph very interesting. The woman is posed against a nicely made rustic chair - the seat is neat and the back has been carefully constructed from angled branches to create a pattern up the back and an arched rail along the top. I wonder if she made it. I assume the chair is supposed to be the star of the show so it's a pity it has been cropped.
