I enjoy living up here in Wisconsin. We get to enjoy the full brunt of the four seasons. I especially love experiencing the snowstorms for the photo opps they provide.
Happy Holidays to all!

Another high speed road portrait - this one also from almost 5 yrs ago - travelling from Dehradun to Delhi.
The skies here quite not clear enough because of some pm.2.5 all over many provinces in the northern part of Thailand. Anyway it is still the beautiful scenery.

Here's another point of view of this abandoned schoolhouse I posted a while back. One of my favorite schoolhouses I photo’d.

I returned to the tiny town that I stopped by two years ago, snapped some abandoned houses and church, but decided not to share since most of them are not worth to show; and for whatever reason I missed their schoolhouse the first time. And this time, I did not. I noticed they added a new roof on this schoolhouse; not impressed, really, LOL!
I made the trip to my originally home county in Nebraska yesterday before headed to the concert in Kansas City, and stopped by this old huge brick house; oh yeah, it was heavy cloudy with a mix of snowing and raining all day.
I was a little boy, went out hunting with my dad a lot, nearly all over the County, but did not know this house existed. It was an exciting time for me to see.
My truck needs a bath soon. Seriously!! *Sigh*

This place was one of my last stops before returned home. This church is one of the primary reasons I decided to take the road trip down to Kansas last week.
The Saint John Church is one of the most awesome abandoned-churches I've ever seen. The wooden structure is still sturdy.
It built in 1930 by Evangelical Lutheran Church, according to the plague I found on the building. I suppose it changed to St. John Church later on.
I am looking forward to making another trip back to Kansas soon.
The sheep said that we could share in their / natures beautiful space; so long as we were conscientious in our commitment to leaving it the way that we found it. The deal was sealed with our quiet observation of all that surrounded them. We were extremely privileged!
Not sure if this is actually in Ardnamurchan or just a few miles outside of it approaching from the direction of Fort William? It was such a charming little idyll that we (my husband and I) were unanimous that this was the perfect spot to enjoy our packed lunch.

I loved this building so much that I decided to post a slightly different angle of it from a previous post I have made. There is so much character here and I felt the urge to share it again.

I ended this shot on my back in a ditch. As I bent down on the side of the road to get the right angle my feet began to slide on the long grass which hid the ditch. As I was going down the photographer's survival technique kicked in: Save your camera at all costs.
So while sliding I deliberately rolled onto my back. No harm done to camera or person, except Marjorie did think for a moment I might have been having a heart attack. Never mind. This photograph was worth it. You can see how the tractor driver is using a hay baler to collect the cut grass and produce those round bales.
So thrilled to discover this schoolhouse. It was a beautiful day to drive and took some snapshots of the abandoned places.
In the promised land, it's gonna be so grand
We'll have our fill from the grill as much as we can stand
It'll be so great with waffles on my plate
Cause we're going to the promised land

This is the oddest abandoned schoolhouse I discovered because it built with cement. It built in 1939. From my own observation, it was on a cattle field, but no cows around. The gate was wide opened, and I was freely to walk around, but had to watch out for some drops they left on the ground so don’t have to step on it accidentally.
