Number 5 Running Back Haydon Deacon of the Limestone Grenadier's (GMen) gets tackled by a New Market Bucaneer at the game held on July 16th in Kingston Ontario.
Thanks to my friend and colleague who is the Limestone Grenadier's Player Equipment Director for allowing us to photograph practice(s) and games. It was hot but a great day nonetheless.

SMU running back Zach Line takes the handoff and looks for the endzone on his way to one of his record breaking 5 touchdowns against the Northwestern State Demons on September 17, 2011.
Line is the first SMU running back to ever score 5 touchdowns in a game, and tied the Conference USA record. That is really impressive considering SMU has had some great running backs in the past including Eric Dickerson, Craig James & Doak Walker among others.
The 2014 NFL season kicks off early in Richmond when the Washington Redskins return to the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center from July 24 to Aug. 11, leaving town four days earlier than last year, but adding two Sunday practices. There's not a better opportunity for you to watch the team practice from the sidelines and maybe even score an autograph or photo with your favorite players. Last year more than 150,000 fans came to Richmond to watch, meet and get autographs from their favorite players. Red Weasel Media RWM was right in the middle of the action.

Jahvid Best was a spark last season as a true freshman out of Richmond's Salesian High School. The kid is lightning fast, and like most other players at Fan Appreciation Day was very gracious with the throngs of fans who wanted photos and autographs.
Middletown, NJ football star Knowshon Moreno pictured on the sidelines after one of his many state record shattering touchdowns.
I had the "pleasure" of being Knowshon's 8th grade science teacher for about 6 weeks in the spring of 2002. Little did I know that he would be a football star at my son's high school. As my son played in the band, I would enjoy Knowshon's on the field performance. In three months, I had gone from yelling at him to yelling for him. Had I known the kid could play football, I might (probably not) have given him a better grade!
This photo appeared in a feature on Knowshon in the September, 2008 issue of Athens Magazine. (09/14/2008)
It looks like Knowshon is going to turn pro this year. All the best Knowshon. You know you sure would look good in Green and Gold and trade in the Georgia "G" for a Packers "G". (1/7/2009)
The Broncos have drafted Knowshon, so I doubt I will get a chance to see him play in Lambeau. Bummer! Good luck in the NFL! (5/8/2009)
