... but Shubelik gives a similar Feeling.
Worlds within a screen,
dreams take form, pixels embrace -
Second life, soul's dance.

As the city burned behind him, 'Blaze Runner' didn’t flinch. Trained in shadows, born of fire, and bound by a promise long buried, he surged forward with blade drawn and vengeance in his veins. Today wasn’t about justice—it was about reckoning.
Storming the burning streets, every stride a slow-motion masterpiece. His eyes gleamed with intensity, his armor caught the light just right, and the city trembled at his presence.
He whispered into his comms: “Phase one complete.”
Silence.
Then a voice crackled back:
“Ben... err I mean 'Blaze'… you’re on mute. Again.”
He’d been narrating dramatically to himself for the past ten minutes. The team was three blocks ahead.
Undeterred, he burst through the flames, eyes blazing, every muscle sculpted for vengeance. Civilians scattered, whispers of “the Blaze Runner” echoing down alleyways.
He struck a pose, sword gleaming, ready to face his destiny—
—until a small dog latched onto his leg and wouldn’t let go.
Turns out, he’d rolled through the wrong barbecue joint mid-parkour. Smelled like brisket and randy poodle for hours.
The Road Runner model, namesake to the popular Warner Brothers cartoon character, was first created for model year 1968 to be a lower cost alternative to Plymouth’s front line musclecar, the GTX that shared the same platform.
A West Midlands Trains Class 170 crosses the Birmingham Canal at Soho. The opposite towpath was busy with competitors in the Birmingham & Black Country Half Marathon - running on one of the hottest days of the year so far.

towards the end of a lovely afternoon out this week in the Yorkshire Dales and on the Yorkshire Moors. The last ‘stop’ was The Cow and Calf on Ilkley Moor.
Ilkley Moor is part of Rombalds Moor, the moorland between Ilkley and Keighley. The moor, rises to 402 m (1,319 ft) above sea level.
I had been admiring the view, the green bracken starting to change to stunning Autumn colours, the sheep grazing noisily, breathing in the fresh fragrant air.
The sun was fast disappearing, a chill setting in.
I looked up and saw this right on the top of the ridge. CLICK, a one-off.
Thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

Blue Lake beans are a classic Italian heirloom climbing bean.
The beans are stringless and the plant can grown up to 2m.
I like them steamed with butter, salt and pepper.
Today I picked just over 1kg.
Sage Thrasher
Summer Lake Wildlife Area, OR
During breeding season, adult Sage Thrashers are extremely secretive around their nests and become especially shy. When returning to the nest they will typically fly to within 30 ft of the nest then sneak the rest of the way in on foot. When they are disturbed, they will often run on the ground instead of flying off. They prefer running secretively with tail cocked upward rather than taking flight.
As well as being runners, they are incredible songsters. During territory establishment in the spring, they are less secretive as they raise and flutter both wings while they sing seemingly endless melodies of bubbling notes and chatters to attract a mate. Incredible songsters, one male went on for 22 minutes without a break. (Cornell Labs, All About Birds)
Another gem at RIAT 2025 was this former Italian Air Force Aermacchi MB.326E Impala MM54168/6-43 caught taxying for departure
