This guy caught my eye as he perched outside my den window. He stayed around several minutes.

I have a friend who has tons of hummers right now. As many there are, it's really tough to catch them. But I keep trying. They will leave soon....

Fun to shoot these little flyers

It was a grey day. I opened our sliding glass door enough to try a few shots of songbirds coming to our feeder. I dropped the shutter speed expecting to shoot perched birds, when suddenly this hummingbird stopped by my wife's cana lily.
