In all the years photographing hummingbirds this is the first time i have come across a deformed hummingbird. Maybe it was injured and end up with the extra growth on his head. Isle Lake Alberta.

I spotted this hummingbird a few days ago. He is very skittish of the camera but I managed to get a quick shot today. Hope to get more. The pollen outside is horrible. You can see it on the feeder.

Ruby-throated hummingbird found her target in the center of a Black-eyed Susan.
