It had to be the rubby slippers and the poppies from 'Wizard of Oz' - my favourite!

Dorothy's magic ruby slippers. Looks like that yellow brick road was not kind to them.

You can never have too many pairs of shoes! All wardrobes should include a magical pair such as Ruby Slippers to take you to OZ and of course those fabulous pink ballet pumps for partying the night away, go on ... ‘Put on your dancing shoes!’

That is what the button on her coat says! I had the wrong lens on (as usual) when she walked by....hence the cut off head....however I had to share this wonderful lady with you. Please note her sparkly red shoes totally match her sequin red scarf.

June 10th (Judy Garland's birthday) the retro characters first made a comeback to Land of Oz since 1975. Costumes made by Billy Ferguson.

A woman at Nanzenji was wearing honest-to-Gods ruby slippers, and I had to get a shot...

Now I'm off to Oz!

This pair of ruby slippers was the principal pair used during filming of the Wizard of Oz.

Chesterton Indiana hosted the Wizard of Oz Fest and Parade. Less than an hour away so we headed out to shoot some photos.

She was NOT in trouble! After I took the photo, I asked her why she was there...she said she was tired and "no one can see me here."

Wizard of Oz ruby slippers designed by Gwen/L.A.M.B to celebrate 70th anniversary of the film. these were on display in the Myer windows on Bourke Street, Melbourne for 3 weeks. this was the only place in Australia you could see them.

I know they're blurred, but I just had to get this shot... I kept waiting to see this lady click her heels together three times...
