For Macro Mondays - My Daily Routine. The newspaper arrives on our driveway each morning between 4-4:30am and part of my routine is to retrieve it while the coffee brews so I can have a glance at it before getting the day underway. This morning it didn't arrive til 7:45 so my daily routine was disrupted! The paper comes wrapped in a plastic wrapper which, at times can be hard to get off.
Happy Macro Monday!!

Or maybe the other way around. At Mardie Industrial, we pride ourselves in maintaining the highest quality standards in our production line, for refined international clientele, collectors and serial connoisseurs like yourselves. The image shot by one of our star reporters depicts one of our supermodels going through her morning routine in our corporate Garden of Zen and Delights, aided by a team of enthusiastic albeit underpaid assistants. The newspaper headline reads: "Lady In Red Still Missing, Feared Lost At Sea". We will endeavor to return to Mystery Island after breakfast and see if we can solve the mystery. We express the hope that the Lady in Red can be found alive. Dear readers, we implore you: never give up hope!

Thank you everyone who has taken the time to view, fave or comment on my photo. It is very much appreciated.
My bedtime routine includes eye drops, lip salve, handcream and a chapter or two of a book.

LOL!
This is funny:
Yesterday morning, at sunrise, beach walk routine….
And a lot of shots…I was kneeling, almost crawling like always…
Almost like my pose in this shot, and my girls were sitting like that, near me..cause I was shooting a plastic friend, and we were all facing the sun…
Then 2 women passed by and one of those two told the other:
“you see, that’s the prayer to the sun…”
(pointing at me with her head, she didn’t noticed my camera on the ground, on the mini tripod)
And she went on explaining: “….I used to do it as well…”
So I understood she thought I was praying the sun!
Well, later on the walk I decided to do a symbolic shot for this prayer!!
Have a sunny day my friends!

week 24 - me and kids
~when i was pregnant, people would (while looking at my boys) ask if I knew what I was having . . . After I replied, they would say, "oh a girl, you are going to love it, you get to go shopping with her...do her hair . . . " I (the mom of two boys who had secretly wished for a 3rd boy) , would sometimes reply, in a not so upbeat tone, "yeah, i have to go shopping with her & and I have to do her hair......" Well, although somedays she doesn't like to comb her hair, she has started to enjoy our morning routine and has started to want to "do it all by myself." Now, I am missing the days when she had to sit on my lap and we would look in the mirror as I *had* to do her hair . .

When I first started my job; as an English language teacher in China, I was surprised when the classrooms had blackboards instead of whiteboards.
Using chalk has certainly become a part of my life that I never expected.
HMM
Hitting the Portneuf Range foothills, a Westbound manifest gets morning sun on its flanks. Life is plentiful in the valley. Buckskin Mountain peaks out about 50 cars back. Breakfast has been served, teeth brushed, life is good, now let's chase this train!
