Everytime I pass this place I have to make an image. Something with the curved gravel road, with the old gate post, something, but I don´t know exactly what.

After stopping here today, I went down to the right in the forest and was about to never get out of there, but that´s another story...

As I photographed this bench from various angles I spotted a dog walker and was able to capture the two together. The dog clearly knows the route and leads the way leading me to believe that this is a routine that doesn't change much. That perhaps the bench is never used by this person. How do routines prevent us from getting the most out of life. Is the man really there with his dog or is he thinking about something else? The practice of mindfulness is about totally being in the moment. Isn't that why we do photography?

Celebrating a little accomplishment today. 1095 days (exactly 3 years) in a row of logging into the app MyFitnessPal. Enjoying and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is as much of a passion as is photography. My morning begins at 5:40 and includes an hour of exercise, photography, and gardening. If i ever veer from this schedule my day feels off, it feeds my soul. I have been trying to make time to do some meditation but it feels like such a challenge to sit still. There are several people whom I follow who are big advocates of meditation so I want to make it part of my morning routine. With commitment, I can add this to my daily habits, it just takes one day at a time.

Routine, Santo Andre, Brazil (2015)

The Gymnasiums were closed during Covid 19 lockdown so the workout stretches were performed in the public spaces

The clouds looked promising for sunset, but I was going to have to miss it. So I took lots of shots of the low light on the field textures, and this came up. I'm not sure that I don't prefer the wider view below, which was not what caught my eye, but I took routinely to show the setting.

My daily routine always seems to involve the river in some way, much like the city of London itself. Whether I'm crossing it on the river boat (captured above in the light trails) to get to work, or running along the Thames path at the weekend, the river somehow manages to find a way impact my day to day life.

The typical routine day in the streets is Saint Petersburg

Not quite daily but an important part of my Monday routine is being a Beaver Scout leader. They keep me young and looking into different aspects of life.

Catching up on the admin at London Paddington station.

2021 represents a significant milestone in the history of the Phoenix Railway-Photographic Circle with the celebration of our 50th anniversary. Phoenix was set up in spring 1971 and was created to promote an alternative approach to railway photography. Why not take a look at the PRPC web site at: www.phoenix-rpc.co.uk/index.html.

The picture 'Malvina's routine' has been created in the streets of Old Town of Tbilisi, Georgia - a beautiful authentic place, I was longing to visit. The trip itself has been very productive and made me think a lot in what direction am I going and what I would like to tell with my art. I have a great many new concepts I would like to share. But before that, I have a question to you, my dear readers.

It has been May 2011 since I first pick up my camera and decided to create conceptual stories. Since that a lot of things has happened in my life, that left certain footprints on my photography. I feel that to this date I have managed to develop my own style of work as I can define certain points it touches and can characterize it specifically with no diversion that was at the beginning journey.

I am interested in your opinion about my pictures. How do you characterize the pictures I create? Maybe some key words? Or personal opinion? I really appreciate people taking time and looking at things I create. I hope to see opinions that will help me in my further analysis.
