gente che va e gente che viene.

Well, tomorrow I interrupt my retirement to begin a 3 month position in a local school system. I already have my clothes ready, so I don't have to think about it at 6AM ! Why am I doing this? MONEY, of course, LOL!!

My daily routine with PT around my little lake, resulted in many of the images here on my stream (see " my dreamland" and "soundgarden" ).

My dear friend Kim/Digitallyte made this image of PT and me and I was so happy with it, because you never see yourself like this.

Thanks so much Kim, I now know what we look like :-)

Fangbang road??@ Shanghai

San'ya (山谷, San-ya) is a place in Taitō, which is one of the special wards of Tokyo in Japan. It is a region with a distinct culture, an area of crowded, cheap rooming houses where day laborers live.

San'ya dates to the Edo period. Lower caste workers, butchers, tanners, leatherworkers, and the like, were forced to live in this undesirable region by the predominantly Buddhist authorities. It has retained its association with both lower class workers and with craftsmen. Within the past few years gentrification has begun to encroach on the area.In recent years, many of the rooming houses have converted to provide cheap accommodation for foreign backpackers.

The name means "mountain valley".
