Route 66 mural on the side of the Deco Foodservice building in Needles.
This stretch used to be route 66, but no longer exists. Once the interstates were built, the old highway was no longer necessary.
In the late 1950s this alignment of Route 66 in Kingman Arizona replaced the earlier, narrower one that curved around the mountian. www.route66chronicles.blogspot.com
The petrified forest was pretty interesting, Again, the pictures don't do it justice. The colors are simply breathtaking and something we recommend everyone gets to experience some time.
東京と大阪を結ぶ国道1号線は私の住んでいる町にも通っている。この道を走ると滋賀県へ抜ける。突き当たりに見えるの鈴鹿峠。新名神で関西方面へは便利になったが、トラック、トレーラーはまだまだこの幹線道路を使う。雪が降ると峠は通行止めになり、峠の東西は開通を待つ車が数キロ〜数十キロの長さで並ぶ。開通しても運転手が寝込んでいて、いつまで経っても動かないということが良くあった。

National Cycle Route 20 has - at last - got signs all the way through Crawley. This gate is at the end of my road. Happily one does not have to go via the large gate. Just to the left there is a short flight of steps and a broken stile so it's easy to go this way.

Route 230 is a two-lane east/west provincial highway on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Eastern Quebec, Canada. Its eastern terminus is in Saint-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska east of the junction of Route 289 and the western terminus is at the junction of Route 132 in La Pocatière.
