Mais lendária das rodovias norte-americanas, Rota 66 beira o Grand Canyon. A fama da primeira estrada dos Estados Unidos que interligou as costas Atlântico e do Pacifico nasceu das viagens de sonho até a Califónia, feitas depois da depressão americana da década de 30e das aventuras de hippies e de motoqueiros depois dos anos 50. More of the legendary American highway, Route 66 along the Grand Canyon. The fame of the first U.S. highway linking the Atlantic and Pacific coasts was born from the dream to travel to Califonia, made after the American Depression of the decade 30e of the adventures of hippies and bikers after 50 years. With the growth of other routes, the highway was abandoned.
