The Route 255 only lasted for a couple of years, going from Chingford Station to Hackney Central Station, following the Route 38 of the 1960s.
Given a blur and contrast boost treatment.
I went to a Route 66 car show this past Sunday in the neighboring town of Towanda. Route 66 is an historic route that connected Chicago to L.A. and there is a little chunk of it that runs a few miles from my town. 66 is more of an historic route now days as the interstate system is the new path of choice. But for fans of nostalgia, Americana, and classic cars, 66 lives on and gives travelers and enthusiasts blasts from the past. On this day, classic cars lined up on the old stretch of 66 and showed off to a welcoming crowd. I just loved the paint job on this one.
I heard one pundit say we need a Chapter 66 Bankruptcy for the states as Illinois and California clearly need this option after decades of mismanagement. chapter 66 since both states anchor the ends of the road.
Whenever I cross over route 66 at the biker church campgrounds and look east this is what I see. I finally got out of the car today and took a picture of it.

State Route 130 (SR-130) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning 43 miles (69 km), it connects the town of Minersville in Beaver County with the cities of Cedar City, Enoch, and Parowan to the south in Iron County.
P&W train CHFP crosses the Saugatuck River on the SAGA moveable bridge, although now known as CP244, in Westport, Ct. Three C40-8's along with CSOR SD40-2 3399 from sister G&W property Connecticut Southern roll stone loads over the span on track three. The section of Metro North's New Haven Line between Bridgeport and South Norwalk has been a double track operation while track work takes place in preparation of the Walk Bridge replacement, offering this view of the only freight train to operate via "The Hell Gate Bridge Route" on the outside track.
Note to self : As a humorous aside, when shooting along a inlet remember to check when the tides will come in. Three of the flashes were set up at the water's edge. When breaking down the set up the water had risen to just over my ankles. Although I think the results were worth the wet feet.

The Feather River Canyon was a source of pride to the Western Pacific. It's pride was witnessed on the sides of boxcars, it's promotional items and on the side of WP 501.
