The blue Planet
...................................

The test picture for the Völlig losgelöst picture. My intent was to add stars in that image, but it would make the ICM impossible and I didn't want to make a collage from two pictures. So, I publish it today as a single pic.

(Round Pupil, Round Eye, Round Lens).. Yesterday we went to Leeds Castle. They have a lovely Falconry center there. One of the staff had this owl, called Mozart, on her arm. She was answering any questions about owls and showing Mozart off. I asked if Mozart would be ok if I put on a macro lens and put the lens near him. No problem at all she said. He's a right poser :) I was lucky enough only to be about 10 inches away from this wonderful bird whilst taking photos. After a few shots I gave him a stroke to thank him. He's feathers are as soft as a cloud. Thank you Mozart for being such a great model :)
More logos than you can poke a stick at, on a brush fence in suburban Sydney, Australia.
This type of brush fence is common in Adelaide, less so in Sydney, so it was nice to find it here.
No wildlife was seen anywhere near these logos. Must visit again at sunrise or dusk.
Note the round eyes on the possum (or is it a sugar glider?), and the round flowers of the wattle... Lyre bird in the Parks & Wildlife logo on the right.

Montserrat (Catalan pronunciation: [munsəˈrat]) is a multi-peaked mountain located near the city of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. The main peaks are Sant Jeroni (1,236 m), Montgrós (1,120 m) and Miranda de les Agulles (903 m).[1] The Caribbean island of Montserrat was named by Christopher Columbus after the mountain.
It is well known as the site of the Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat, which hosts the Virgin of Montserrat sanctuary and which is identified by some [2] with the location of the Holy Grail in Arthurian myth.
"Montserrat" literally means "saw (serrated, like the common handsaw) mountain" in Catalan. It describes its peculiar aspect with multitude of rock formations which are visible from a great distance. The mountain is composed of strikingly pink conglomerate, a form of sedimentary rock. Montserrat is Spain's first National Park.

The letter S coin from the 2018 A-Z series of 10p coins. These all feature something iconically British for every letter of the alphabet.
S here represents the stone circle of Stonehenge.
I'm hoping to collect them all.

Love the mix of rust and old wood.
And also the roundshape made by the closing element.
A carnival is the perfect place to find round shapes. There are plenty of circles/round shapes in this Giant Expo Ferris Wheel. The wheel is owned by Powers & Thomas carnival. The event was held at the outlet mall in Smithfield, NC. Since my wife was at work, I decided to go to the carnival.

This gathering of stones, round shapes in the sand, had animate qualities, as if they'd all hauled themselves out of the sea for a break from the tumbling.

Night photography is a challenge to me because of my vision problem. But I still love it. Here are some of my other night shots. Please feel free to comment.
This was the test shot for this week's FlickrFriday idea. I would have preferred the aperture closed more but this was all the posing my daughter was willing to do! She got her gum. She was happy. Haha! #workingwithkids
I was in Dr. Sun Yat Sen Park on Sunday.
I did not go to shoot these water lilies but joining my photo club friends in a portrait shooting session.
It was gloomy dark and raining in the morning.
The water lilies are still giving the best of its color.
This is a second-hand moka pot I presume it's from the 60's, made in Brazil with very good quality, that I bought in a flea market.
Pronounced piːtsə / in Italian: ['pit.tsa]; literally ‘pie’ is the name of an oven-baked, flat, usually round bread covered with tomato purée and often mozzarella cheese, with other toppings left optional. While originating as a part of Neapolitan cuisine, the dish has become popular in many different parts of the world.
In the 20th century and onward, pizza has become an international food and the toppings may vary considerably in accordance with local tastes. These pizzas consist of the same basic design but include an exceptionally diverse choice of ingredients, such as anchovies, egg, pineapple, banana, coconut, sauerkraut, eggplant, kimchi, lamb, couscous, chicken, fish, and shellfish, meats prepared in styles such as Moroccan lamb, shawarma or chicken tikka masala, and non-traditional spices such as curry and Thai sweet chili.
Pizzas can also be made without meat for vegetarians, and without cheese for vegans. Breakfast pizzas are topped with ingredients such as scrambled eggs. "Supreme" pizzas typically include a thick layer of many different toppings.
Mine above is something similar to "Supreme" type of thing though not too many toppings. What's exciting here is that I was able to baked it successfully - after several failed attempts. Now, am loving it. Buono appetito!
