My 2nd big tornado of the year, once again in the Watertown area. Seems like this is the place to be if you're a fan of tornadoes... well, as long as they stay away from the city itself.

This spiral ramp (there are no stairs) is rumoured to be a turned carriage ride for a former king, who allegedly went up there with a horse-drawn carriage to enjoy the view ; ))

But no: This design was chosen to allow a horse and carriage to reach the library of the tower, moving books in and out, as well as transporting heavy and sensitive instruments to the towertop which served as observatory of the University of Copenhagen until 1861

I thought this (older) photo might be fitting thematically with my last upload for Macro Mondays ; ))

Somehow the three red marbles just wouldn't stay still in the sheet of glass, but kept rolling away. So I had to corral them, with a red ribbon. But it's round too, and red, so hopefully it feels at home ;o)
