Because I'm sickish today I spent a bunch of hours, after making this image with fresh daisies for KuanYIn, by making a gallery on Flickr. It's call The Lady and goes several places in the world looking at the Mother Goddess. I've gotten started on my curator's notes for the 18 images - but there's a lot more to write. But its ready for visitors here:

Samango Monkey
The youngster made himself comfortable between the glass pane and the burglar bars.
Those two eyes were staring intently at the fruit and vegetables on the kitchen counter.
Not widespread or common in South Africa, occurring only in the coastal forests north of St Lucia estuary in KwaZulu-Natal, and in the Afro-montane forests of Mpumalanga. The range extends into similar habitats in neighbouring countries. Another, more southern subspecies, is found in Afro-montane and coastal scrub forests of central and southern KwaZulu-Natal, extending into the Eastern Cape to just north of the Knysna forest. Higher population densities occur at the north coast. The two South African subspecies are only distinguished by colour variances.

I cannot help but feel a sense of disappointment with the current view from my hotel room. Gone are the stunning sunsets I once savored at the hotel on Montjuïc. The breathtaking views have been replaced by something far less captivating. The view and hotel are a clear step down from what I used to enjoy. It seems like I must have made some mistake along the way... 🤔 - Barcelona, Spain
View from Hotel Madero on Puerto Madero early morning. Puerto Madero is Buenos Aires’ newest and shiniest barrio. It is home to lofty skyscrapers and regenerated brick warehouses that have been converted into some of the city's most exclusive lofts, offices, hotels and restaurants - Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina- Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina
The south-west evening view from our balcony.
I am not 100% sure, - but I think the mountains are "Serra de Corbera".
Llandudno Beach, Cape Town, South Africa is one of the most pristinely beautiful beaches in the world in my opinion... The drive along Chapman's Peak affords breathtaking views of the Cape coastline, unmatched anywhere else I've been in the world. Taken when I went back for my 10 year family reunion in December for Christmas. I took a drive with my parents at sunset and a delicious Thai dinner in Hout Bay! Cape Town is a fantastic vacation destination with friendly and warm hospitable people :D — in Llandudno.
Estancia Cristina is located inside Los Glaciares National Park. The lodge offers cosy rooms with mountain views in a privileged natural scenario – Estancia Cristina, Los Glaciares National Park, Patagonia, Argentina.
One year ago I was on holiday in Nippon. These are some photo's of exactly one year ago.
When I was finished at the Chureito Pagoda I had to walk all of those steps down and it was getting cold and I was a bit tired. I had to find the hotel. I reported at the reception and handed my voucher and the clerk asked me: "Just one night?". Me: "Yes, unfortunately. It's beautiful in this area but I'm driving back to Tokyo tomorrow."
He gave me an upgrade but he didn't mention it. Look at this view, I couldn't believe it, its the best view in Japan! When I went to the onsen later that evening I walked by the reception and thanked him.

Killary Harbour is a fjord on Ireland's west coast. The Leenane Hotel, an old coaching inn, lies at the head of the fjord. In 2018 during a winter storm a surge of water came across the road and flooded the hotel lounge, subnerging the piano!
Back at the begining of august myself and keith norman headed off insearch of warnscale bothy loaded up with a mix of camera gear and camping gear the bothy our target for the night and what an experience climbing up from honister slate mine in bright sunshine and heat but the sunset made up for it taken just as the sun dipped behind the hills and with such a high dynamic range bracketed and hdr blended in lightroom
Menai Bridge and House, the house always fascinates me, I would love to go inside, it is a holiday cottage.
A crisp morning. The neighbour's new fence is the first non-natural element but at least it is neat.
The inter-drumlin lake is frozen.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.

And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

At the docks waiting to leave on a world cruise, The Queen Mary 2. On the same evening the other two queens were leaving for world cruises, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth but I didn't hang around for them all to leave, seemed to take an age. Another image in first comment box. Should really have used a tripod but it was a spur of the moment decision to go down there so these were hand held. 116 in 2016 # 76 Room with a view
